Zhevra

Swiftmane

A striped, unicorn-like, zebra-hybrid equine beast common to the Barrens. They are normally not hostile, but will defend themselves with kicks if attacked. Their name is likely derived from the real-life species, the zebra.

Zhevras were formerly hunted for their  [Zhevra Leather], used in previous patches for making fashionable hats. Currently,  [Zhevra Leather] serves no purpose.

Notable zhevra:

• Swiftmane, a zhevra found near Ratchet which can run at incredible speeds.

• Zhevra Charger
• Zhevra Courser
• Zhevra Runner

As a Mount

Now if you recruit a friend, you will receive a free zhevra mount. That is, if they actually purchase World of Warcraft and 2 months of playing time.
