Ithraelstrasz is a member of the Red dragonflight and a sworn protector of all life. Known among his own kind for his extemporaneous ways, he can often be found wandering Azeroth in search of unconventional means of ensuring balance and peace.
Biography
Ithraelstrasz was born approximately 400 years before the subjugation of the Red dragonflight at the hands of the Dragonmaw clan(preceding the Second War). Despite his best efforts, Ithraelstrasz was captured along with his parents Alexstrasza and Tyranastrasz and forced into service as a Horde war-mount, but was released from bondage during the Battle of Grim Batol. In the the years following, Ithraelstrasz remained with the Dragonqueen and worked to rebuild the devastated Red dragonflight.
During the war against Malygos and the Lich King, Ithrealstrasz fought alongside the Kirin Tor and the Red dragonflight.
While Alexstrasza is personally attending matters following the recent Cataclysm and Deathwing's return, Ithraelstrasz has been dispatched as an agent of the Dragonqueen abroad.
Appearance
Ithraelestrasz, in his most common humanoid guise, is a powerfully-built High Elf with dark features and a commanding stance. Though physically imposing, Ithraelstrasz possesses a pure aura of protective affection that washes over all those in his presence like a warm and gentle breeze. Ithrael' is known to take many forms.
In his natural form, he closely resembles his mother. Though his swept horns are less magnificent than the Dragonqueen's and his bulk much smaller than the Aspects, Ithraelstrasz' wing span rivals that of Malygos and his scales are a brilliant red with a radiant golden flake.
Personality
Much like his mother, Ithraelstrasz is dedicated to the protection of all life on Azeroth. He is calm, calculating, and highly situationally aware; his centuries of exposure to endless conflict granting him supreme confidence in his combative prowess and nearly unmatched aerial grace while under wing. Having been born into slavery and a lifetime of war, Ithraelstrasz is weary of conflict - especially that which may deliver him once again into bondage. When absolutely necessary, however, this wyrm rapidly and savagely engages his foes in what he proclaims is "the most efficient application of force."
Not unlike most of his kind, Ithrael' is prone to bouts of narcissism and is known to be intolerably impatient with mortals - though he is often intrigued by their behavior and finds himself assisting them in their adventures. Ithraelstrasz has a particular adversity to showing his true form to those he is unfamiliar, and prefers to complete the majority of his travels in the guise of a High Elf (as described) or a common animal.
