He did not think to parley with strangers, though when they initiated a discussion he willingly took part. Blarus is not evil — he is simply trying to do what he thinks best to destroy a powerful enemy. The heroes were able to draw out his entire story. What the heroes decided to do with this information is unknown. However, combat occured, and during the battle he was injured, Blarus uses his scroll of greater teleport to escape. The Great Lift
The Great Lift[32, 22] was a tauren built elevator that allowed travel between the Barrens and Thousand Needles. However in recent times the quilboar in Southern Barrens have expanded their territory blocking the path from travelers. During the Cataclysm and flooding of Thousand Needles, the Great Lift was destroyed.
The tauren Grish Longrunner and Brave Moonhorn that once resided here have gone missing, possibly either returning home or killed by the encroaching quilboar.
