Overview
Wiki templates provide a means to insert the same content over and over in different (or the same) pages. This saves editors the hassle of duplicating the same text again and again, and also helps ensure consistency. See the WikiMedia page for further information on using and creating templates.
What follows is an index of the templates already created for the WoW Wiki. Please add further templates as required.
The Templates
Templates are generally shown with the format required to use the template, followed by a link which will take you to the template page, showing what it looks like. Use the edit link from there to update templates. Note that templates which use parameters will appear with blanks like {} where the parameters would go.

These templates take one parameter "ClassX" which should be replaced by the class name; "Mage", "Warrior" etc. This is used to create links back to class-specific pages.

Table rows
Table row templates are designed to be used within tables, so that if we want to alter the table formatting this can easily be achieved by one or two template changes, without having to make lots of individual changes row by row. Only really worthwhile for larger tables with 10+ entries (or tables expected to grow to that sort of size later).
Where there's a Row1, Row2 etc these indicate different colour backgrounds and should be alternated between in order.
