The color white is used in World of Warcraft in various different ways. One way is as part of the usual [Blizzard] color system for items (gray, white, green, blue, purple, orange, red) or mobs (gray, green, yellow, orange, red).
White Items
Also known as Common items. White items are of a basic level. Most items you find in the game that are not armor or weapons are white.
Many times quest items are White. They are important, but are not really rare in any way.
