Ald is a collocation for Alucard179, a frequent visitor of Wowhead's Lore and Roleplaying forum. To quote my profile there,
I guess that if you are here than you're somehow interested in me. Well, in before you find my profile boring, I'll apologize for that. ... I'm 18 year-old guy who lives in Moscow, Russia and has played Warcraft series since 2003. Apart from that, I'm interested in fantasy, math, English, black humour, Lost, and roman empire. I'm a lore-lover, and participate actively (or at least trying) in FRPG that are going on currently here on Wowhead.
As for WoW, whenever I return to (a rare thing, actually), my main is a destruction warlock (who switches to affliction when doing daily BG or defending WG) raiding on a weekly basis, and my alts are shaman and death knight. I'm planning on rolling a druid come Cata.
Mordanna (literally 'Darkfallen' in J. R. R. Tolkien's Sindarin) is the main character of upcoming series of short stories, named 'The Bleeding Tales'. Created (speaking about the character concept) as a deconstruction of people's tendency to think of the Ebon Knights as generally nice folk, Mordanna is completely ruthless, immoral and cynical, willing to inflict torment upon his enemies and knowing how to do it all too well - while still serving the Ebon Blade and fighting against those considered enemies of all sapient races.
It worth noting that Mordanna wields a half-sapient runeblade Narathel (distorted 'The Red Blade' in J. R. R. Tolkien's Sindarin), a weapon that craves not for souls but for blood and frequently speaks to the death knight, somewhat adopting aspects of his personality. Narathel's origins will likely be uncovered in one of the coming stories.
The Bleeding Tales cover Mordanna taking part in Azeroth's major conflicts (by the time this is posted the only conflict mentioned so far is the Nexus War), and their purpose is to grant an insight on these events from Mordanna's point of view.
It should be noted that, while not being lore-breaking, Mordanna's abilities sometimes surpass those of other Third Generation death knights, while still remaining on roughly the same 'level'.
