Mental Quickness is a passive talent for Enhancement Shamans that increases spell power by 50% of your attack power and reduces the mana cost of beneficial, damaging, and totem spells by 75%.
Notes
- Mental Quickness affects totems, shocks, and other spells such as
[Bloodlust] or 
[Heroism].
Patch changes
Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): No longer reduces mana cost of all instant-cast spells (notably, no longer affects Purge). Instead, it reduces the mana cost of beneficial and damaging spells, as well as totems. - Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Changed from being a 3-point talent from being a passive signature talent/ability for Enhancement Shamans.
- Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): Have switched position with
[Static Shock] in the talent tree. - Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): Reduces the mana cost of instant cast Shaman spells by 2/4/6% and increases spell power by an amount equal to 10/20/30% of your attack power.
- Patch 2.3.0 (2007-11-13): Now also increases spell damage and healing equal to 10/20/30% of your attack power.
