Mercurial Stone Edit

What do you hope to accomplish by adding unnecessary amounts of code to Mercurial Stone? User:Gourra/Sig2 04:06, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

I was in the process of creating a stone, and did not know which fields would or would not be needed. Rather than having to keep loading the template, I added all of them and was planning to delete the redundant ones at the end. However, your continued reversal of the pages, meant I spent time re-editing (I thought the edit had not stuck initially, or there was some sort of clash - I did not know to look on the talk page as this was only my second attempt at a large edit) instead of actually investigating Alchemy labs and creating the stone. (I almost gave up on ever editing again too). --Tequima (talk) 00:47, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Harold Winston Edit

When creating this page (char added in 3.0.8 and new items added in 3.1) I was stuck for finding the right images for it, same with the categories. (My ISP disconnecting me for the whole of Friday evening did not help either... thanks Virgin...). Is there an easy way of viewing what images are available (as the images page did not appear to have a complete list) and likewise the categories? Tequima (talk) 12:15, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Usually the item pages themselves contain the correct image, simply click on the icon and it will take you to the images name page. Another way is to use, double click the image and a small popup appears with the name, copy and paste. However do note that for some reason they're linking everything in lowercase and you'll have to cap the first letter of each word.
inv_shirt_blue_01 (is what wowhead gives-currently)
INV Shirt Blue 01 (is what you change it to)
As for noting a page is incomplete simply add {{Stub/NPC}} at the top of the page, if its an NPC, for more stub types see WW:STUB. Good luck, User:Coobra/Sig4 22:14, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Starter quests Edit

Blizzard has made it where as a different race you can not complete the major beginning quests for the starting areas of all races. Meaning quests found behind the guarded walls in the areas where most mobs are neutral. Those were meant for the races that start there, and them only. User:Coobra/Sig4 01:31, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Security Guide Edit

I've started to refresh and clean up this page, following up from a link on a page being voted on for deletion. This will take me a while (as I like to actually PLAY WoW now and then), so please bear with me. I do have a couple of questions, and these are recorded on the guide's talk page. Class proficiencies Edit

Saw your comment on Talk:Class proficiencies about simplifying the table, and I agree. If you have a chance, can you give me feedback on the idea I started at User:Harveydrone/Sandbox? It would of course include all the other classes, plus somehow show the trainer or at least city where additional weapon skills are learned. -- Harveydrone 22:00, September 11, 2009 (UTC)

Your opinion is desiredEdit

Hey, we're pretty much settled on leaving Wikia, but I wanted to see if you had any input. Thanks. --PcjGamepedia wiki manager (TDrop me a line!C58,974 contributions and counting) 23:06, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
