Pleae explain the edits where you removed content especially videos Edit

If you have some reasonable explanations, you won't be banned. Regardless, please stop removing content without at least an edit summary. Consider this your first and probably only warning. --Gengar orange 22x22Beware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 26 Feb 2011 11:43 PM Pacific

Thanks for adding videos, but please put section lower on page Edit

Please try to put Youtube videos in a == Videos == section just above == Patches and hotfixes == (or == Patch changes ==). --Gengar orange 22x22Beware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 24 Oct 2011 3:04 PM Pacific

Ow sorry, will do in the future!

Adding videos Edit

I guess I can take this since I already changed it Tongueout. You were very close with uploading that solo hard mode video. All I did was remove the File tag, the size specification and the position. If you look at my edit, you can see how the video should look. Also it is important to place it in the gallery section. PacmanNomNomNom Macrophager (talk) 15:25, January 14, 2013 (UTC)

Just to expand on this, since it looks like you've discovered the Video module already in the "add features" section and you happen to run across pages every now and again where yours is the only vid contribution. You can have a gallery-less upload in that case. The edit you did to the XT-002 Deconstructor page is a good example, but you would have to add {{clrl}} after the file to line everything up correctly on the page. It's usually best to have it around 300px, too. As Ryan pointed out, though, if there are multiple vids, then using a gallery is the right option for that. Videos Edit

Hey Nobbel, I just wanted to express my appreciation for adding those solo videos to the pages. They definitely add quite a bit of value now that much of the former content is solo-able. PacmanNomNomNom Macrophager (talk) 20:45, January 19, 2013 (UTC)

You're most welcome! Just a heads up, I noticed that you uploaded the same video multiple times for different pages (It's frustratingly impossible to find a video in the search section XD), so I took the liberty of linking all of the pages to what I believe is the original uploaded video. I marked the remaining videos for deletion. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Again, thank you for uploading those solo encounters for the various bosses (I find them incredibly helpful). PacmanNomNomNom Macrophager (talk) 01:34, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
I think what you are doing is fine. If you plan on posting the same video on multiple pages, I would suggest you post it on one page, then go back into that same page and copy the video link, and use that for the other pages. Does that make sense? (I think I worded it weird). PacmanNomNomNom Macrophager (talk) 02:00, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
Winky if you have any other questions, or if something's being weird let me know. I'm here to help! PacmanNomNomNom Macrophager (talk) 14:22, March 4, 2013 (UTC)

Patroller Edit

You tend to touch on plenty of pages here. In the event you see any vandalism, would you be interested in having the expanded powers of a patroller? It's a good stepping stone if you someday want to be a mod or admin as well. Raylan13@fandom (talk) 16:59, June 7, 2013 (UTC)

Hi Raylan13.I'm honored that you ask, but I fear that I would destroy all of WoWWiki with that kind of power. I find it hard enough to put in the edits, let alone fix other people their mistakes :D (Hope I placed this response in the right section). Nobbel (talk) 20:06, June 7, 2013 (UTC)

This Nobbel? Edit

Just wondering if this is your char:

Duplicates Edit

Not sure if automated or why, but please mind the duplicates. :) Celess (talk) 20:02, December 15, 2013 (UTC)

Format Edit

Please also follow the proper format, and please don't remove the proper format when adding your videos and regress the page. Please read media section in WoWWiki:Manual of Style. Would like to ask that you, for the time being, separate edits made to add your videos, and edits made to 'clean-up', so that intent is clear.

At the moment there are too many things to chase down to check and fix these properly on our end, so I'm going to revert what you have done, after SoO until now. Feel free to add your videos back afterward following guidelines. Winky Celess (talk) 20:11, December 15, 2013 (UTC)

Placement Edit

If there a reason for moving lore video you created above another lore video repetedly after the fact, rather then leaving them in order of chronological addition, please explain. Celess (talk) 20:49, December 15, 2013 (UTC)

I restored them to where they used to stand since they were moved by someone else in the first place.
Besides that the other changes I made were to clean up the page. Right now there are 2 seperate Garrosh death cinematics (Horde and Alliance) while there are plenty of videos not from firemage who show both in 1 video.
+ the cinematic is also from Firemage his page, not the official wow video
I personally don't care what videos you want to keep up, but don't accuse me of putting myself above others. That's not what I was doing. (Nobbel (talk) 21:10, January 21, 2014 (UTC)).

I asked if there was a reason you were placing videos from your youtube channel that you created above existing videos, to please explain. I asked because there were a lot of duplicates being made which was taking a lot of time to clean, and because:,,,,, as a sample, all of which were on the 15th.

We are happy to list and embed these of course, same as any others, and part of the responsibility in our patrolling is just to ensure things aren't running askew. There may be times where there's a poke or a question as a part of maintenance and moderation, and these are as impartial as possible with the intent of better wiki, yadda yadda. Any questions please let any of us know. Celess (talk) 22:10, January 21, 2014 (UTC)

In general I made these changes because the video in question offered little to no information about the actual subject. I realise that date of post is importantto you, I figured that a viewer would be looking for the most relevant information. I wanted to remove the videos, but have been warned not to do this before. I've been having trouble with editing on Wowwiki in the past and i don't want to create more work for you so I'll stop.
Here's why I made the changes per page:
In this one I placed the videos relevant to the date of the story, starting with :Horde goes to War, Thrall vs Garrosh-0|
After that I placed the story of Garrosh and lesson of Garrosh since they both told the story of Garrosh.
Below that I placed the story of the siege and replaced the two individual death cinematics with 1 video that showed both.
That video didn't even mention Alleria compared to a full video telling her story.
order of these has now been swapped back to Alleria specific videos being first. Celess (talk) 00:12, January 22, 2014 (UTC)
A video about the titans with a small mention of Draenei at the end, compared to a full video with their story.
Same deal, a small mention compared to a full video.
Same deal, a video about the titans with a small mention.
swapped these as well. :) im out of time :) Celess (talk) 00:12, January 22, 2014 (UTC)

Everything is fine, and certainly encourage contribution and correction. :) I think if you put edit notes it would help, and is the convention.

The reason I left a message, is mostly because there was no edit note. In lieu of an edit note, and just the same as if it had been a removal, with no rationale forced to make a change back and then leave a message. Of course wanting to keep the content, vs. reverting the page. Which leads to the unfortunate verbiage involved in asking why, rather than making a redundant note in all of them. Here, substantive changes need reference and comment, otherwise its too cumbersome for those that follow, being the reader, editor, or patroller. Removing content is very discouraged, and basically a no-no without at least leaving an edit note, which is why the initial reaction up at the top of talk page before. :) Celess (talk) 23:06, January 21, 2014 (UTC)

Could you mention to subscribers, watchers to vist WoWwiki it would definitly boost our population.
