I am ExplodingChickens. I've been a fan of World of Warcraft since the release of Cataclysm, and I hope to contribute in my own small ways to the enjoyment of others by writing and editing articles for this wiki, a defining resource for fellow players. I have written several articles, including those for many NPCs found in Nethergarde Keep, an article I found to have an excessive number of redlinks. I also wrote a new History section for the article on the Stormwind Army. In addition, I have worked to enhance the article on the Battle on the Broken Shore and the section in that article that featured far too many non-existent articles on allegedly important demons.
My favorite demon to write about was probably Gravax the Desecrator.
My parallel project to creating articles for all of those listed monsters on Broken Shore was rewriting much of Garrosh Hellscream's article; this was something sorely needed in some sections. Any assistance on this one would be greatly appreciated, as I admit that I don't know too much about WoD and Horde lore.
I'm beginning to wonder if the Vale of Eternal Blossoms article is worth fixing, and how much work is arrayed ahead of me as one of the more recently active members of this wiki. It's been, as of the time of my writing this, only a few days since I've joined, and I've accrued 222 edits. I've written a few dozen miscellaneous stubs, learned a few tricks of this wiki editor and added over 17,000 of whatever it is the change counter counts (I'm assuming it's letters or characters or something) to the article on Garrosh Hellscream. At this moment, it's 4:50 am on 4/23/2017, and that article has been my life for the past several hours. My fingers ache and my legs are numb. My supplies of food were exhausted with the conclusion of the campaign in Stonetalon and the dismissing of Overlord Krom'gar, who I utterly despise. Rewrote several articles associated with that questline as well. This is turning into quite the expansive hobby, I suppose.
Oh well. Better expansive than expensive, I guess. I do genuinely wonder, though, how much work remains to be done. Every time I go through the wiki to learn something new, I find an article with poor grammar in sore need of improvement, or one with dozens of redlinks, or a poorly written summary, or articles lacking entire sections that should have been written years ago. I'm looking at you, MoP articles (again, Vale of Eternal Blossoms). Seriously, as of the time of me writing this, there is nothing under the resources, NPCs and quests tabs of that article, and that expansion has been out for several years. Did people just really not like Pandaria? Do they not know how to spell Vale? I just do not understand...
As you may have guessed from some of my work, if not by my first few edits to this wiki, I am a Human! Love 'em! In fact, I used to be one!
