Unwaking is the term used when someone or something in The Emerald Dream is affected by The Nightmare. It means that they are trapped in the Emerald Dream and their bodies are forced in a permanent sleep, they die of starvation unless carefully aided. Little is known of The Nightmare, or its origin. Currently Malfurion Stormrage is an Unwaking as is Naralex of the Wailing Caverns
