What is a trainer?
A special type of NPC that gives out Class abilities or spells or Profession skills or recipes. As expected, most of these improvements cost money (increasing with level) and only become available at certain levels. Ask a guard if you need to find one.
If you are looking to increase your skill in a profession you need to find a skilled trainer to help you out. To train in expert and artisan professions you need to find an Artisan and Master Trainer. Below are listed a large number of artisan and master profession trainers. Good luck.
A weapon master is also a type of trainer.
Sometimes they also give out quests.
