Arcane Specialization is one of the passive specialization bonuses gained by a Mage when specializing into the Arcane-tree at level 10. It simply increases the damage of the Mage's Arcane-spells, which "ensures" that the Mage will be using Arcane-spells instead of Fire- and Frost-spells, thus making it an Arcane-Mage.
