Dragon Wastes

The Dragon Wastes is an icy plain that covers much of central Dragonblight. As the name implies, it is the final resting place for dragons,^[1] containing frost-encrusted corpses from all dragonflights. They are what gave Dragonblight its name. A broad stretch of white glacial snow cradles dead dragons in various stages from flesh to bone. The whole region is an ancient graveyard.^[2] The magnataur of the region hunt here, seeking to fill their stomach.^[3]

After the war against the Jailer, the brothers Bronzebeard visited the plain and Muradin wondered how deep the glacier goes, and if the bones of the dragons continued deep into the ground.^[2]
