While outclassed by today's standards, with a Crusader enchant it is still a viable entry-level weapon for PvP or PvE; the Crusader enchant can stack with the sword's ability, giving the wielder a temporary total of +300 strength.  The sword of Conan the Barbarian was the model for this weapon.  The sword is relatively unpopular due to its fast (for a 2-hander) attack speed, making it weak when used with Mortal strike, Crusader Strike, and Seal of Command.
