She is indeed affected by the nightmare, if u go to the green dragonshrine in Dragonblight a quest npc there will say that she asked Ysera for help against the scourge but since Ysera is affected by the nightmare she ordered all the guards there to attack anyone not of the green dragonflight

"Ysera is the only Aspect whose current activities are known; she is in the Emerald Dream coordinating the battle against the the mysterious Nightmare, along with Malfurion and Cenarius." Correct me if I'm wrong but... isn't Cenarius dead? --Toksyuryel 12:52, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Not entirely. See "Conversation with Remulos" on Furion Stormrage. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 13:02, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

This is probably an upgraded comment in regards to the first post- Don't we know Nozdormu's whereabouts being somewhere in the Caverns of Time? evanfardreamer (talk) 08:17, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Nope. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 13:14, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
Well actually there are sources that state he is somwhere in the Caverns of Time, and that its his home, but that doesn't mean he necessarily stays there at all times.Baggins (talk) 17:27, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Trapped in the Nightmare

Seems somewhat hinted that Ysera herself may actually be trapped within the Nightmare in one of the new quests. http://www.wowwiki.com/Quest:That_Which_Creates_Can_Also_Destroy "Excellent. Just as I suspected all along. I shall have to contact Ysera and see if she approves.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Leviathon (talk · contr).

Factual correction

Cenarius isn't literally the son of Ysera? I believe this is incorrect. In "The Sundering" it pretty clearly states that Cenarius is the son of Ysera and the White Stag.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Braindonut (talk · contr).

Reread the section. The author later clarified she was the adoptive mother.Warthok Talk Contribs 03:00, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
