Looks like a D&D Beholder to me. But then again, D&D is the basis for most modern fantasy RPGs. [[User:BobNamataki|BobNamataki]] ([[User talk:BobNamataki|talk]]) 00:54, March 23, 2010 (UTC)

I've always wondered if this is Warcraft's version of a beholder. --Baggins 09:31, 12 May 2006 (EDT)

BeholdToVoid

Void terrors may have a connection to Floating eyes as Socrethar hints that Culuthas summoned both many-eyed demons the same way.--SWM2448 02:23, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Name

Vor is the "Void Hound of Shaffar". Doesn't that mean these guys are called Void Hounds instead of Void Terrors? INV Misc Orb 04Xavius, the Satyr Lord 14:34, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

Porbably yes. Not to mention that Mob Cataclysm Hound, Mob Cataclysm Hound Sunwell and Mob Hound of Culuthas have all "hound" in their names. The only problem is that its skin is named "VoidTerrorSkinBlack" according to WoWHead. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 17:00, January 27, 2010 (UTC)
And the wretched skin is named "CrackElf". INV Misc Orb 04Xavius, the Satyr Lord 17:48, January 27, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, we shouldn't trust too much in the skin names. I support the move to "void hound". Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 17:56, January 27, 2010 (UTC)
'Crackelf' is always used for support against model names. Though, I do think the names came from Immol'thar's model. I suggest that you word it as: "Void hounds(cite), who may also be called void terrors(cite),..." to avoid presenting facts as certain. Also, Cataclysm Hound Sunwell and Cataclysm Hound are the same entity. One is just seen from The Solar Vigil.--SWM2448 17:57, January 27, 2010 (UTC)
Face the facts: There is no reference to the creature being called Void Terror outside of the model files, while there is a creature in World of Warcraft (Vor) explicitly called a Void Hound. INV Misc Orb 04Xavius, the Satyr Lord 18:15, January 27, 2010 (UTC)
As long as you say where you got it from in the article... "Void terror" should stay as a redirect.--SWM2448 18:19, January 27, 2010 (UTC)
