Accessing XML Attributes Edit

Is there any way to access XML attributes from Lua? I'm trying to edit the Blizard_MacroUI MacroFrameText frame to allow more letters in the box, SetMaxLetters() lets you type more letters in the box, but when going back to the Macro frame to edit the Macro, the text gets truncated to 255 letters. Merging with XML basicsEdit

I think the majority of the XML basic article should stay mostly separate. The roles of these two articles seem sufficiently different that merging them would make the WoW-specific article lose its focus. Perhaps there could be a mention of XML and a very basic overview of its syntax, with a "More information" link for that section? Dafrito (talk) 16:08, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

Is it possible to create a template that has different hookable events? Like a clickable texture or anything?
