Akinos Steelclaw is a diplomat and blademaster from the Horde. He travels to Stormwind City in order improve diplomatic relations. While in the Valley of Heroes, he gets into a debate with members of the Stormwind City Guard, including the nephew of Danath Trollbane, Christof Dungalion. They debated over who and what truly makes a hero. They discussed the human heroes of the Second War, and those that traveled to Draenor. Akinos remembers atrocities committed to his people by each of the "so-called" heroes, and while the blademaster side of his thoughts, thinks of insults that come to mind, he instead he chooses to weaken the guard's arguments in a more diplomatic way, by pointing out they love their own people.

This leads one of the guards into pointing out that the valley contains statues from other races including dwarves and elves, and he added that perhaps someday an orc will be put into the Valley. Akinos however adds, that his warchief Thrall belongs there, as does Jaina Proudmoore, and even Cairne Bloodhoof.

One of the guards is disgusted by idea of a Tauren being honored in that way, and chooses to insult Akinos by saying he would be "lucky if there is room for one race of beasts, let alone two". However Akinos deflects the remark away by asking who should be honored if the Valley could contain only one hero. The guards argued over if it should be Uther Lightbringer or Lord Anduin Lothar.

However, Akinos had them where he wanted them, and decided to bring up his own choice, Orgrim Doomhammer, "warrior and warchief, the shadow no prison could hold." At that moment Akinos knew that if the Stormwind Council could be toyed with as easily as he had with the guards then his position as diplomat would be an enjoyable post.[1]
