I'm curious about who at Blizzard wrote this history, since it doesn't mention anything about how Illidan saved Felwood from further corruption and killed Tichondrius in addition to consuming the Skull in his quest for power. I know it's obvious from my name that I'm not the most impartial guy when it comes to the question of how high Illidan ranks on the evil-o-meter, but I think most others would agree that some important facts have been omitted here and that people who knew nothing of Illidan would read this and believe he was scum. The title, The Betrayer Ascendant, doesn't help either.--Illidan Rocks 21:55, 3 Nov 2005 (EST)

A year and a half later... :-)

If this tome contains inaccurate information about Illidan's involvement, it actually makes it more accurate as far as a game-piece is concerned. The tome is found in Darnassus which probably isn't particularly fond of Illidan, no matter what he did for Felwood. As far as Teldrassil is concerned, the problems in Felwood still exist, Illidan made a deal with the devil, and the current efforts in Outland only strengthen the image of Illidan as an enemy. --Tyranor 21:01, 7 Apr 2007 (CDST)
