I saw that they were still leaving many NPCs out (to be added later) and with the phasing, I wouldn't be able to just fly through zones looking for specific things.. I can't speak for everyone, but I find many of the "official icons", especially the worgen ones, not that good. And what it really came down to was that icons that were being used first or the longest took the main name while newer ones took an alternate name.
