Seal of Corruption bug

FYI, don't add this as an undocumented change because it's just a tooltip bug. Just Alerting You Small Howbizr(t·c) 3:33 PM, 8 Oct 2009 (EDT)

Re: Seal of Corruption nerfs? | 2009-10-02 15:14 | Ghostcrawler
[Seal of Corruption's] tooltip incorrectly stated that it did higher damage than it actually did. It actually did (and still does) the same damage as [Seal of Vengeance]. Vengeance's tooltip did not have the error. We changed Corruption's tooltip to be correct.

Curse of Elements was not changed

Also, don't post this as an undoc either. Just Alerting You Small Howbizr(t·c) 3:33 PM, 8 Oct 2009 (EDT)

Re: Why the Nerf to CoE? | 2009-10-02 04:52 | Ghostcrawler
Curse of the Elements rank 5 is still 13%... [Curse of Elements] rank 5 has not changed between 3.2.2 and 3.3.

The PTR section

Shouldn't everything be in this section until the patch goes live? -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 03:18, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

No. I was thinking of this section, because they are things that are specifically for PTRs, not for live. Hans Kamp (talk) 04:15, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
Another option would be moving everything into an unconfirmed section once the patch goes live. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 07:47, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
The stuff in Patch 3.3.0 is what Blizzard has published on their website, and should be a direct copy, with the addition of wikilinks and other navigational stuffs. What's on Patch 3.3.0 (undocumented changes) are changes found and confirmed by players. Speculation can go on the talk pages. Ideally, the undoc page should have a lot of a references, since most of these things were confirmed by a blogger or fansite somewhere down the line. But if you do your own research, you're still welcome to post what you find without a reference.
On the flip side, nothing is ever moved to the official patch notes, because again, that's just whatever Blizz officially announced. We do however purge anything from the undoc page if it becomes duplicated on the official patch notes. Hope that helps clarify a bit. Just Alerting You Small Howbizr(t·c) 1:47 PM, 6 Oct 2009 (EDT)
I agree with the change that you just made. The changes that I noticed can be easily checked, especially with a level 80 character. I also would suggest to remove parts of the undoc page if it is removed after the end of the PTR phase, but before going live. Hans Kamp (talk) 14:04, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
One additional clarification, this page is just for changes to the game, not a description of the current PTR. For example, if Blizzard disables a dungeon on the PTR, that doesn't need to be added here. Similarly, obvious PTR bugs shouldn't be noted here (like the LFG system always being on). If you're unsure if something is a bug or not, I'd phrase it like this "LFG is now always enabled, possibly a bug." Just Alerting You Small Howbizr(t·c) 2:07 PM, 6 Oct 2009 (EDT)
And yes, everyone in the spirit of the wiki should be bold this page is dynamic and should be purged or corrected during and after the PTR cycle. Just Alerting You Small Howbizr(t·c) 2:07 PM, 6 Oct 2009 (EDT)

More non-changes

Here are some other false positives, so they should not be added to the undoc:

Re: Chains of Ice = Diminishing Returns on PTR | 2009-10-05 15:48 | Ghostcrawler
Stop your mass rerolling there DKs; this is a bug. :)

[Chains of Ice] should not have DR on its snare.

The bug was likely introduced because we were trying to prevent the huge visual from displaying on creatures that were immune to the snare. The functionality of Chains of Ice has not changed for 3.3 (at least as of this posting.)

Re: Reconsider The Improved Barkskin Change | 2009-10-05 21:51 | Ghostcrawler
[Improved Barkskin] has not changed for 3.3 (at least as of this posting). The tooltip was clarified to specify that only leather and cloth armor contribute, which was always the case.

List of undoc changes. I'll just keep expanding this list as I find more articles. Use {{strike}} when they've been integrated. Just Alerting You Small Howbizr(t·c) 3:34 PM, 8 Oct 2009 (EDT)

Possibly just a tooltip clarification?

According to the wiki's Genesis article and the comments on wowhead, it never affected non-spell periodic damage or healing. Unless we find evidence that it affects something other than spells in the current build, I think we should assume it's just tooltip clarification. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 10:16, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

Shadowfiend Change

Not sure where to put this, but the Priest's Shadowfiend pet will now cast Shadowcrawl on it's own and recast it every time its cooldown is up until it despawns.

I guess under Priest section. Hans Kamp (talk) 08:38, December 9, 2009 (UTC)

Towers at the Argent Tournament

Are there new towers at the tournament? I only remember one at the southern entrance, introduced in 3.2, but now I also see one west of the Argent tent, and another north-east of the Alliance tent. ~ Nathanyel (talk) 14:06, December 10, 2009 (UTC)

They're new. I noticed one yesterday. I was curious if they would used for the Get Kraken! quest, but couldn't test it. Curtwulf (talk) 14:08, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
They're just for looks as far as I can tell. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:43, December 10, 2009 (UTC)

Its a small change, but there seem to be a bunch of supplies stacked up all over the place in the Military Quarter of IF. (Kind of reminds me of before AQ) Also, I think similiar supplies are stacked up somewhere in Orgrimmar. travlr23 (talk) 06:31, December 12, 2009 (UTC)

No npcs around explaining why? User:Coobra/Sig4 06:57, December 12, 2009 (UTC)
Nevermind I went around and saw it for myself... seems they might have accidentally triggered those graphics to appear, cause, at least for horde ones, half the supplies are floating in the air as if the other half of graphics weren't told to load up. I didn't notice them the other day, so it might have happened in their "hotfix". EDIT: Oh, and yes, exact same stuff/models as for the AQ opening event. User:Coobra/Sig4 07:07, December 12, 2009 (UTC)
Maybe its ramping up for a fight with Arthas, or maybe its stockpiling for Cataclysm??? travlr23 (talk) 05:45, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
apparently, the 3.3a patch rolled back whatever happened there. travlr23 (talk) 16:31, December 15, 2009 (UTC)

Feral dodge animation

I can't say for sure that this is new with this patch, but if not it's still quite recent. Bears and cats appear to have a new dodging animation. The cat one is kind of weird - looks like some kind of roar, but doesn't match the animation for Savage Roar (or for getting hit, for that matter). The bear one, however, is very noticeable, and I haven't seen it before this patch. Before this, the dodge "animation" was simply returning to neutral: i.e., not moving at all. Bear: Cat:

Owldark (talk) 08:35, December 12, 2009 (UTC)

Noticed the bear one, but thought it wasn't new (rarely tank nowadays) Adding it now ~ Nathanyel (talk) 15:50, December 12, 2009 (UTC)

Drgaonmaw race

Can anyone verify this comment? Just about to start the grind, but it's too late in the night. Francis2559 (talk) 06:56, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
