Strategy

"ALL raid leaders should note that if your group CAN reach phase 3, they are geared for this raid, and it's simply a matter of refining the technique." Isn't this just plain false? If you can reach Phase 3 100% of the time in 9 minutes and 45 seconds playing optimally, you're not geared enough. --Jefpearl (talk) 17:40, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Macros

Deathknight (Death Grip): I've been having DK's in our guild use this macro for power sparks. I think it's worth having on the tactics page.

Heals Not Giving Combo Points

I noticed in a ten man Malygos raid tonight that Revivify doesn't award a combo point. Healers have to use Flame Spike to get combo points for Life Burst and Flame Shield. Strategy section should be changed to reflect this? Luxorien (talk) 03:34, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Heals are giving combo points.. but on the target you hot. If you hot yourself they stack on you... if you want to use the ae heal or shield you have to target yourself to use them .. or cast with a macro with [target=player] --Dafire (talk) 11:08, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Damage

How much does Malygos REALLY leave(or leave on plate)? On me, and im a mage, he leaves for 19-17k... that would be pretty low, since ulduar bosses can leave even a 30k; and even Gruul reach an higher damage.

Type of Fight?

What type of fight is he? He seems to be a Battle of Survival, with the long enrage timer. Aswell, you have to manage to find cover (the Arcane Shields) from his and his add's destructive attacks. Then, in Phase 3, you have to deal with the Channeled damage caused by him towards your dragons. And also, you have to stop different adds from reaching him in Phase 1. Gruntijackal
