Poor Magni ...Edit

I feel sorry for this guy all his brothers, parents and other ≤släktingar> are dead. And his only child has married his worst enemy.--Anonymous

Yeah, but on the contrary a heir to both Ironforge and Blackrock is a great occasion to reunite all Dwarves under a same leader.--K ) (talk) 07:38, 17 November 2006 (EST)

The BRONZEBEARDS and the DARK IRON? Yeah, that'll work.. O.o --Tinkerer 07:44, 17 November 2006 (EST)
What was that ? Do you think I'm stupid enough to say something that polemic without thinking about if before ? I'm sure the jackasses at Blizzard have done it on purpose, despite all that faction splitting crap they sometimes reunite enemies.--K ) (talk) 07:55, 17 November 2006 (EST)

Its not that much of a stretch. Thorium Brotherhood did split and despite being greedy, don't seem to be do anything really evil. Zarnks 18:59, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Besides, Brann probably isn't dead. Again. And Magni's going to be a grandfather! It could be worse. He could be Tirion Fordring, whose entire circle of friends and family are either dead, undead, or Scarlet Crusade. --User:Varghedin/Sig 20:54, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Brann is alive. Magni will probably never see his daughter or grandchild, :p... She's too tied up in dark iron dwarves society.Baggins 21:05, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

His youngest brother Brann ain't dead, just missing. May Khaz'goroth be with him. --Hefaistus

Brann==> Still travelling f(Alleria)
Muradin==>Never to be seen again f(Vereesa)
Magni==>Faction leader f(Sylvanas)
<=>Bronzebeard=Windrunner ^^--Kirochi (talk) 09:43, 24 September 2006 (EDT)
Oh, BTW, Brann is probaly dead after all. He held the Base of Atiesh, he was last seen in Silithus, and the base of Atiesh can be looted on C'thun ...--K ) (talk) 13:39, 25 November 2006 (EST)

Oh my god ! They killed Muradin !Edit

Muradin got killed by Frostmourne. It may be possible to see him in a Ice Crown Glacier instance as an undead. Maybe it will be one of the boss of the Ice Crown Citadel!-Firelord-
Right, but not as the boss of Icecrown. This is already held by Arthas, whom I don't suspect would be eager to let Muradin's corpse approach him.--K ) (talk) 03:35, 23 November 2006 (EST)
I know but I was not talking of the Final boss of Icecrown Glacier, I was talking of a lieutenant of Arthas. I know, without a doubt that Arthas will be the lord of Icecrown Citadel... But by thinking to it... I don't think that blizzard will let us kill Arthas. Because, without him, we no longer have ennemy... Or maybe Arthas will send Muradin as he sent Kel'Thuzad! This option may be possible!---Firelord- 12:42, 25 November 2006 (EST)
Yes, they will let us kill Arthas. No doubt on that. And the "without him, we no longer have ennemy" argument is dumb; haven't you noticed already that bosses are killable as many times as you want ? No, really, Arthas will be the last boss for a 40-man level 100 raid, Blizzard has been hinting it for years now.--K ) (talk) 13:39, 25 November 2006 (EST)
I said won't have other ennemy to kill. Do you want to kill Arthas, again, and again, and again, and again, and... well, you see what I'm talking about. C'mon! I read a lot about Arthas and his power, he is Arthas and Nerzhul. The one of the most intelligent/powerful being on the earth. He is even planning to kill Elune!!!!! I don't think we could kill him soon... Really... But this is not of the subject. I still think that Muradin have a role somewhere, He could even be join when he was living and fighting in northren by the cavern of time. And I mean, before he met Arthas. You understand?---Firelord- 23:20, 25 November 2006 (EST)
No. He's not planning to kill Elune. And I said "level 100", that does not mean soon. How on Earth could Archimonde be possibly less strong than Arthas ? And "before he met Arthas" : no. Muradin was a childhood friend, his trainer.--K ) (talk) 03:33, 26 November 2006 (EST)
If you don't trust me then, tell me how Medivh who was possessed be THE GREAT SARGERAS!!! A TITAN! Could be killed by a bunch of men... Warcraft is sometime a real pain to try to figure out the power of some hero. I mean by exemple, Ragnaros and C'Thun. An elemental lieutenant and AN OLD GOD!!! C'mon, how can a bunch of 40 men, enven if C'Thun was weakened, could kill him... It's just make no sense at all, it would mean, if Arthas is harder than the great old god or an elemental lieutenant by far... He could possibly do awesome and terrible act!--Firelord

Medivh did not have Sargeras's powers, or otherwise he'd already have torn apart Azeroth by the time he woke up from his coma. He was just mind-controlled by Sargeras, the same way the One Ring told Gollum what to do. His magic powers did what can be seen today. And as some guy said, these are not 40 random jerks but level 60 heroes with full epic enchanted gear with tons and tons of experience; it makes sense.--K ) (talk) 16:17, 26 November 2006 (EST)

Well, you are right on that one but I still said that C'Thun which is an old god could not be defeated by 40 "60 level" hero. Still I don't say that your opinion is bad. But "I" just think that Blizzard should be carefull on the ennemies he put in the game. I don't want to see 40 ppl owning an old god with full capacity, or even a Titan, you know what I'm meaning (There are still 3 old god left imprisonned underground with a possible link to the forgotten one from the Spider Kingdom tunnels in Northren. Meaning they would be possible BOSS)... Well, you played at Wc1-2-3 as me? Then I'm saying to Blizzard : Continu on the limit of possible! Even if new ennemies must be created!---Firelord- 21:06, 27 November 2006 (EST)

What about Kil'jaeden? In the long run he's as big of a threat as the Lich King. There's also Azshara and the naga, one of the most powerful non-Legion/Scourge forces on Azeroth. Much of Northrend remains a mystery, so there's plenty of new baddie potential there. And hey, who knows what would exactly happen to the Scourge if the Lich King was killed?

Don't worry. It won't end with Arthas. --Austin P 13:18, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Dwarf King : Combat info Edit

I saw many raid bring down the great Dwarven King! And it will be nice to have some combat info... I'm sure talking to those who downed him or participed in a down. The difficulty of downing the Dwarven King is really vrariable. It only depend on this question: The player in Ironforge from the alliance will help the King, or not? If you don't think that somewhere, on a server, the king was downed by a raid, then watch this : [1] ---Firelord- 23:31, 25 November 2006 (EST)

Yes we know. Any faction leader can be brought down by a good PvE/PvP guild.--K ) (talk) 03:33, 26 November 2006 (EST)

Mountain KingEdit

Magni is not a member of the class known as Mountain King. The Alliance Player's Guide for example only discusses his brother Muradin in that light, but never refers to Magni as a mountain king in the same article.Baggins 22:37, 27 December 2006 (EST)

Well considering that Magni is Muradin's brother and Magni is an actual king in a mountain its a pretty good chance hes a Mountain King.

sign your posts... Being an actual king, has nothing to do with being a "Mountain King". If he was one it would have been stated. Unless we have actual confirmation that he is an Mountain King it doesn't belong here. As it is the only character confirmed to be a mountain king out of the three brothers is Muradin. Even Brann makes this distinction, and doesn't claim his other brother Magni is one too, and treats it as a special honor his brother Muradin had obtained.Baggins 01:39, 10 April 2007 (EDT)
Again, Magni is not a "mountain king" class. He is the king under the mountain, but not a member of the ironforge warrior thanes. The warrior thanes serve magni bronzebeard though.Baggins 03:25, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
When attacked by the Horde in Ironforge he uses two of the Mountain King hero unit's three active abilities, Storm Bolt, which is their ranged attack which Hammer of Wrath was modelled after, and Avatar, their ultimate level ten ability. If he's indeed not a Mountain King then he's a damn good mimic. Drasol 22:14, 18 July 2010 (CST)

Does anyone know the honor that killing one of these world bosses yields?

What level? Edit

For me it says lvl ??, but is it possible to find out? AristonJ (talk) 01:02, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

As the article say he is level ??. See: ?? Once level capped, if a mob still appears as a ?? then they are referred to as a "skull type boss". Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 01:06, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

List of Characters Edit

Any particular reason Magni (nor Mekkatroque for that matter) don't appear in the list of "Major Warcraft characters past and present" box that we have on all other major leaders? Tanooki1432 (talk) 16:42, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

I think because unlike most of the other major leaders, they haven't really done whole lot. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:03, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
One extremely important thing Magni did was smith Ashbringer which I believe is enough to justify him being on the list. Mekkatorque, on the other hand, just whines about troggs in his beloved Gnomeregan.AhotahThunderhorn (talk) 18:47, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
