Kwee only sticks around for the extra week in one of the six cities? Or can both Horde and Alliance btoh have him? -- davidc

This "Holiday" sucks I´ve done all the quests and the gift collection thing and I didn´t get anything :(. --Frejh 11:18, 12 February 2007 (EST)

I did everything and didn't get anything either. I thought maybe there was something else I had to do then I read where he offers you the contents of his cauldron. He didn't offer me anything. :/ --Ale34 (02/12/2007) I got a Romantic Picnic Basket! its WIN!! --KingStoph 14:37, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

changed the silver shooting arrows to possible 10 charges instead of possible 5 (I got 10 in mine) Jamesofur 03:50, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm making a bit of a change... whether you get pledges or gifts depends on whether you're talking to a guard or non-guard. The text indicates that it's just guards. --Solitha (talk) 09:00, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Quest removal time...?

How do we phrase it? Do we know when the old quests and quest NPCs were removed?--Mondoblasto (talk) 10:58, February 7, 2010 (UTC)

Probably 3.3.2. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:27, February 7, 2010 (UTC)
The new Achivements are listed under Undocumented changes to Patch 3.3.0, so it is most likely then that the old quest lines were removed. Gweneira @~~} (talk) 12:59, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

I was having trouble figuring out the Charms. I found them when I was working on "Crushing the Crown" in Crystalsong Forest. They would drop at random from the Sprayers you are fighting there. Make sure you take a healer or plenty of Potions, because once you get in there, it is a constant fight. They will spawn right on top of you.

Zanderlane (talk) 17:17, February 7, 2010 (UTC)

I think they need to be humanoid. Caecias (talk)

Someone in Trade had asked if they needed to be mobs you would get experience from.....I am not really sure yet, I haven't tried anything other than the sprayers so far. Being level 80 I don't get xp, but they are green to me. I will find some grey mobs and check that out too. I think you are correct though, that they need to be humanoid....I will check on that too.

Zanderlane (talk) 18:31, February 7, 2010 (UTC)

I was killing the big spider mobs in Icecrown (the constantlly respawning ones in Scourgeholme) and getting Charms from them. On 80 Shadow priest.

Also, it seems leftover Love Tokens from last year were removed from inventory. I had roughly 6 stacks in the bank from last year that were removed sometime in the last 24 hours. Centrisian (talk) 18:40, February 7, 2010 (UTC)
Since they are currency now, I'd hope so. User:Coobra/Sig4 19:56, February 7, 2010 (UTC)
Note, chain killing mobs in scourgeholme sends all spawns in the area (note 7 or 8 mobs at once) to you as they spawn, although the drop rate of Lovely Charms is 1 Charm for every 2 kills. And I can understand why they'd be removed. I was stating this in case in had any relevancy. Centrisian (talk) 21:14, February 7, 2010 (UTC)
I had Picnic Baskets in the bank from last year and they too have been removed prior to the start of the festival. Gweneira @~~} (talk) 13:06, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

Fun Fact #1: In order to collect the Charms, you need the "Lovely Charm Collectors Kit".....sorry, being born a blonde has affected me even after my hair color has changed to Brown over the years.... I tried for about 10 minutes to collect the charms before I ventured to Org with my 3rd toon; I was hoping to make the process a little easier since I am running all 3 of my 80's for the event. I should have realized that since this was an event, a special item needed to be in your inventory to get them...heh. Well, at least now us first timers know...

Fun Fact #2: I went to Borean to check on the lower level (grey'd) mobs, and after about 10 minutes of killing Marsh Caraboo and Gorlocs' I have come to the conclusion that you do in fact need green or higher mobs to get the charms to drop. Additionally, I took my 70 Hunter to Borean to farm some leather after running my 80's for a bit; the Charms drop from Rhinos' as well. This leads me to believe that you can get them from anything you get (or would get) experience from. The drop rate seems to be about the same, though slower since I am not pulling a group of Rhinos' (I am currently solo) but one or two at a time. After about 5 minutes I am up to 7 Charms. Results may vary, I am the only one in the area currently.

Easy Charm Aquirement

I've found out quite by accident that certain (maybe) vehicle quests can get you charms. I went and did Quest:Shoot 'Em Up from The Leaper at Shadow Vault. My collecter kit kept netting me charms as I shot down the proto-drakes with the harpoon. Much faster than killing mobs by hand and with no risk to boot. I easily got the 10 charms I needed for the day and the 30 I needed for the next day. I don't believe distance was a factor, but could be wrong. I suspect it will be the same for any death-by-vehicle quest. I also suspect that this was not intended by Blizzard and if they find out, they may hotfix it out.--Mondoblasto (talk) 08:33, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

Even faster is picking up the jousting daily in front of Icecrown Citadel and trampling the skeletons. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 08:39, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

Card buffs and Lucky Charm Bracelet Quests

It appears that the buffs gained from Lovely 'city' Cards varies by level. At Level 80 they all produce an increase of 30 of their respective (Strength, Stamina, Intelligence and Agility) effects lasting 1 hour. Gweneira @~~} (talk) 09:25, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

At Level 80 the quests to give charm bracelets to the leader has a reward of 13G 23S, it might be if we made a note of some of the rewards at various levels (e.g. Level 1) instead of editing and re-editing the reward values as that becomes confusing to other users(this has been edited twice since I created the quest pages for the horde) - any suggestions on how to word it? Gweneira @~~} (talk) 19:13, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
I would think that the players' could themselves see the quest rewards (as far as gold, experience) at the time they take on the quest. Where the rewards do change from level to level, I would think that it would require a page of its own to list all the rewards for every level. Maybe, the best way would be to just give it as a range, ie, level 1 - 80 yields rewards of xxx - xxx; sorta like the B2A gear you get from the Quartermasters and such. Page split

With all the old info moved into Love is in the Air 2009, and linked to from this article, I think all the duplicate info should just be removed, ie the 2009 quests and the old info about Kwee Q. Peddlefeet. User:Coobra/Sig4 06:24, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

I agree, after all the aim is to keep articles up to date and concise. Gweneira @~~} (talk) 08:00, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
I did part of that deletion. But I don't have immediate access to the game client when I do the most of my editing, so I was conservative in my pruning. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 19:24, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
