Re-arrange[]

I am going to re-arrange the list accoding to the 3 possible builds, tanking healing DPS. Would look better to be, please discuss --Andersmusician$ 22:11, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Obviously, the silence means we liked it. Smiley /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 6:12 PM, 9 Jun 2009 (EDT)

Re:Removed from game[]

Hey Gourra, I don't follow PvP so I'm not 100%, but I don't think Inv misc book 07 [Deadly Gladiator's Libram of Justice] was removed. I think it's just no longer available. I think items like that (versus actual removal) should still be listed, but perhaps in a separate section - something like "no longer obtainable" or some such, like the mounts. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 6:12 PM, 9 Jun 2009 (EDT)

"Removed from game" is similar to "no longer obtainable"; see the description at Template:Removedfromgame: "This includes items and quests that can no longer be obtained." There's nothing that can be removed if it's already obtained (such as quests and items), but they cannot be obtained anymore. --g0urra[T҂C] 22:15, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Blizzard certainly can remove things people have already obtained, they usually just choose not to. --PcjWowpedia wiki manager (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 22:17, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
That's more or less what I meant to say. --g0urra[T҂C] 22:19, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
So I did not mean to bring this up as a matter of grammar. I'm bringing the appropriate ones back in a new section if players still have them. If you PvP and you already know which ones those are, please do the editing for me. I'm just SWAG-ing from the wowhead comments. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 7:09 PM, 9 Jun 2009 (EDT)
Are season 3 and 4 rewards still available? I'm confused why items from season 1, 2, and 5 are all flagged as removed from game but other seasons are not. Not to mention that it's only librams - all those other reward items from the season do not appear to be flagged (but I just clicked on a few random ones).
I hope I didn't just uncover yet another project. Quick, someone get Eirik! /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 7:28 PM, 9 Jun 2009 (EDT)
Beats me why Blizzard has chosen to keep the Season 3 and 4 relics... You'll have to bring that up with Blizzard, not here. --g0urra[T҂C] 07:24, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

I'll not do more than touch on "no longer obtainable" not really being a synonym for "removed from the game", as PCJ described the case well enough, and Gourra already replied to it.

On the other hand, I am mildly distressed that the pages for the various relics (and I will assume all other arena gear of all seasons) does not list on the page itself a comment to the effect of (for example):

This item is (was) offered as one of the Season 1 Arena rewards.

But hey, make a template that says that, and you have a place to automatically inject {{Removedfromgame}}, right? ... and is it just me or does that rewards link seem capitalized wrong to you guys too? --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 22:19, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

If you mean the "Arena Season #", then I guess so, but that's probably because the article is called "Season # Arena rewards" and not "season # Arena rewards. --g0urra[T҂C] 06:22, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Old functionality[]

It would be neat if we could keep an older version of this for posterity, showing how it used to work. (The same goes for other relics.) I'm not sure how this would work though. Plymouth (talk) 20:53, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

I don't believe the page would change at all... since these specific types of relics are no more... and every relic is just a relic with classes assigned to them now. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 20:56, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
I'm talking about letting people see what they used to do, in a gallery like we already have. Plymouth (talk) 21:04, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
Two word: article history. --g0urra[T҂C] 21:15, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
