Merge[]
I dont think it should be merge and if so i think light should be merge into this as seen in Shadow and Void case. According to the cosmic forces map it can seen Holy is opposite to Shadow(void) but light is opposite to Shadow. So I do think if we want to merge them we should rename void page Shadows and merge holy in light.I write this because someone add {{merge}} to this page. Almost three years later, I allow myself to relaunch the discussion; Since this time, many editors and myself have worked on the "Light" page and I must say, personally, that it is now quite complete. This makes this "Holy" page literally redundant with the latter, and I think we can afford to merge it once and for all. WardsJames (talk) 22:36, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

- Why couldn't the Holy page stay to go along with the other magic types - arcane, fel, nature, and shadow? Or are they (or some of them) getting merged too? --

- Hello, as discussed above (and on discord), the Holy page has the same issue as Arcane/Order or Fel/Disorder, all information on the Holy page were exactly the same as on the Light page, and it just makes a useless duplicate. Like DT said, the only distinction between Holy magic and Light is "The Light manifests in the Great Dark as holy magic." That's all to it, just a nuance in the name. On the contrary, Death and Necromancy are really different, in-game and in-lore (more since Shadowlands), so in this case, each can respectively have a page. If the transition from Holy --> Light goes well, and nothing is missing, I think to ask the general opinion concerning Shadow/Void which is in my opinion in the same situation, but I have doubts. Afterwards, if in the future we have an extension of the SL type but for the Light and that the nuance came to be added to the Holy magic concept, we can always redo the separation, yes! Edit: For the "Arcane/Order or Fel/Disorder" example, I meant that all information about these two concepts are on the "Arcane" and "Fel" pages, while "Order" and "Disorder" are only (for the moment) redirected to two small paragraphs of the Magic page while waiting for more content. - Personally, I think we should build pages for all six cosmic forces as articles, using the official names and with infoboxes, and go from there. Some clear flaws I see with how its is currently done is that the Light article has no mention of First Ones (like their name in the First One language or that it is a force of structure as Saezurah), or that the Shadow cosmic force is labelled as Void in Wowpedia, when the two charts that we have always label them as Shadow.--Ashendant160 (talk) 00:57, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
