"Lifebinder"? Isn't that Alextrasza? Regardless, I think "Patron of all Life" is more dramatic. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 02:50, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Yes, but for Alexstrasza is only a title and it is like when mother give her daughter same name as her.

Speculation : Eonar = Earthmother =... Elune? Edit

About speculation, it says that Eonar could be Earthmother... Could it be Elune at same time? Myths are used by those who don't know writing (does Taurens and Night Elves known to write before the Third War?) to "tell" History, and by the years it changes and becomes more "legendary". And for Elune, Nights-Elves may have seen their god as being similar to them. For Taurens they may have simply seen her as Earthmother by the time.

No? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Danquebec (talkcontr).

No. Elune is a deity (the only known true deity in Azeroth at that), while Eonar is a titan, who are explicitly not gods. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:58, October 8, 2009 (UTC)
But, it was a very long time that Night Elves did see any titans. By the time she could have become a god and take the appearance of a Night Elve for Night Elves. While for Tauren she became Earthmother. -- Danquebec (talk) 17:09, Octobre 9, 2009 (UTC-5)
It's not a matter of perception; Blizzard has been very clear on this point. Elune is a deity, and the titans are not deities. Eonar and Elune are separate individuals. Whether or not either are the being the tauren know as the Earthmother is certainly up for debate (and indeed seems likely), but we know that they are not the same being. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:23, October 9, 2009 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for the information. ;) -- Danquebec (talk) 22:08 October 9, 2009 (UTC-5)
