Um, there seems to be a problem. Was he killed in the Dustwallow marsh or in the Broken Isles?--K ) (talk) 17:07, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Good question, his armor is actually held by two seperate Deathlords, and you can kill both. That would make it nearly impossible to know which is which, or if both represent manifestations of the paladin.Baggins 17:55, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Web sources[]

Are there any decent web sources for this guy? All I could find was WARCRAFT III: THE FROZEN THRONE STRATEGY GUIDE, CREATED BY: despairfaction, VERSION: 0.99b (also [1]) which mentions this creep in passing as the source of a good drop. --Gengar orange 22x22 Fandyllic (talk · contr) 10:04 AM PST 1 Dec 2007

Well I know the mob is real, but I just question the veracity of the description. It appears to be one of those lunar falls-type exaggerated fanfic backgrounds, that goes way beyond what the game had for the npc.Baggins 18:06, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Agreed. A nice story, but needs at least minimal citation. --Gengar orange 22x22 Fandyllic (talk · contr) 10:07 AM PST 1 Dec 2007
Read Deathlord?--SWM2448 18:24, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Again, the description in this article still goes beyond what is discussed on the Deathlord armor somewhat. It needs a bit of cleanup.Baggins 18:28, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
I think it's more stuff like this:

Prior to the fall of Lordaeron, Eldritch "Deathlord" was a one of the most zealous members of the Silver Hand. When the grain infected with the Plague of Undeath was distributed throughout many villages, the Deathlord led his troops in civilian massacres akin to the atrocity committed by Arthas on Stratholme. Following this event, Eldritch slew his family believing them to be impure, for they condemned what he had done. The Paladin fled to the Broken Isles. His spirit haunted the islands under the form of a Revenant until he was destroyed by Rexxar, Rokhan and Chen Stormstout, who claimed his shield, as it was a powerful weapon.

Lots of assumption (paladin fleeing prior to becoming a deathlord), pure unadulterated speculation (most zealous? how is that known), and possibly unrelated info (Crown, whom doesn't even drop from this creep, says a members slew his family. Doesn't specify who). Its one of the Lunarfalls descriptions made in order to flll up the infobox because of the formating.Warthok Talk Contribs 18:36, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Did my own edit. Anyone see anything wrong with this version.Warthok Talk Contribs 18:43, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Its still a bit too specific, for example the reference grain distribution. I'd limit it to only the way it was described in the game.Baggins 18:54, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
