Undermine Edit

Who added the "Undermine will be added with the expansion" info? Where did you hear that?

--Bevans (FeldmanSkitzoid) 14:12, 30 Nov 2005 (EST)
Not sure. I think it will be added witn AN expansion, but doubtfully the next one. --Xmuskrat 09:38, 6 Jan 2006 (EST)

Player Housing Edit

I think maybe we should bump up the possibility number on that. Go get a model viewer and hunt through the buildings... There are 3 examples of player housing in Stormwind (3 different sizes). They've been there for a while, though, so it seems like it might be an abandonded project. --Kakwakas 08:54, 6 Jan 2006 (EST)

Blizzard talked about this a lot in beta, but nobody's talked about it in quite a while. This would also include guild housing. --Xmuskrat 09:39, 6 Jan 2006 (EST)
they say it will be in diablo 3, and doubt they'd put it in wow, so they can pull people into D3. CJ 11:27, 13 Feb 2006 (EST)
"They"? Blizzard? Got a source? --Xmuskrat 16:10, 13 Feb 2006 (EST)
"Chris Hartgraves from, former employee of Blizzard Entertainment, has sent us word that Diablo 3 will be aired at Blizzcon." Have to say that's a weak source. --Xmuskrat 11:33, 14 Feb 2006 (EST)

Emerald dream 1.10 - 1.11 Edit

Might be. there have been new items added that related to the emerald dream in 1.90.

CJ 06:23, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)

That would be AMAZING. --Xmuskrat 07:58, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)
Its hard to say. 1.9 is AQ, which adds a endgame raid dungeon., in 1.10 you would expect a new Battleground, and or a mid lvl raid dungeon. 1.10 will have a new dungeon.. but which one.. 40 man undead above strath.. or X man emerald dream? time will tell. CJ 08:33, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)
I believe there is a freeze on new Battlegrounds, until they do their Battlegrounds review. The next Battleground will be Azshara Crater, but they froze that to get things working right. I think they want to polish, make sure all the current BGs are fun, and find out reasons why they might not be. However, 1.10 will probably have some new instance with it, I'm as curious as anybody to see what that will be. --Xmuskrat 10:54, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)
As far as I know Necropolis Naxxramas is the next instance which will be added (40 man raid). They even had maps of it at the Raids & Dungeons Board at BlizzCon. --Ymihere 22:25, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)
Sorry, but this was debunked today. No Naxxramas in 1.10 --Xmuskrat 15:46, 10 Jan 2006 (EST)
Thx for the Info, Xmuskrat. Still I think Naxxramas is the next instance. On page one of this thread Caydiem mentions that there is no new instance planned for 1.10. --Ymihere 03:36, 11 Jan 2006 (EST)
I think Naxxramas is the next instance too, Ymihere. Just won't be 1.10. The dream? I hope they save that for an entire expansion pack. No reason it can't be as cool as outland. --Xmuskrat 07:49, 11 Jan 2006 (EST)
Caydiem wrote: Really? I've said the following in this thread:
  • 1) The new armor sets won't drop in a new instance
    • So they'll be added to existing intances?
  • 2) I'm fairly certain (from the design I've heard) it will NOT be a matter of reputation
    • which is good, because plainly.... getting items by grinding like a brainless fart, such as the Zul Gurub is set up.. is not fun.
  • 3) Naxxramas is not coming in 1.10.
    • 1.11 then i guess?
  • These are three heretofore unheard of tidbits of information, and I used relatively few words to communicate them. It may not be the completely descriptive undertaking of what precisely is coming in 1.10, but there are times, such as now, when I can't give that type of information. So I'm giving you what I can.
  • CJ 03:40, 11 Jan 2006 (EST)

So.. Draconic for Dummies. Does this mean that players will be able to learn and understand Draconic? If this is the case, I will be ecstatic. --Anticrash 11:05, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)

Maybe, maybe not. i rather suspect its another "green hills of STV" like quest, where you have to collect 10 tablets from all over the world in order to get Eneraticus to understand you when you summon him in the moonglade. For which i think you need the 4 nightmare fragments. CJ 11:15, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)
Uggh.. screw Green Hills... I wish they'd implement language learning. Warlocks (and later on, Blood Elves) should at least be able to learn Demonic. --Anticrash 11:23, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)
No, you don't learn Draconic. Check it out: --Kakwakas 11:52, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)
That's crazy. What event/raid is that? Is it a world event or something? --Anticrash 12:00, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)
Scroll down more towards the bottom (they need to set up a page where it flows better). It's the opening of the Ahn'Qiraj gates. --Kakwakas 12:16, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)
Oh jeez.. I stopped at the Eranikus raid at Nighthaven.. now I see the rest though. That's insane. I'm glad there's more to it than just gathering an assload of supplies. --Anticrash 12:40, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)

Rep when dead 1.11 Edit

Fixed in 1.11? meaning you'll no longer gain reputation when dead? i havent had any problems with this so far.. CJ 04:37, 12 Jan 2006 (EST)

Original Post --Xmuskrat 09:53, 12 Jan 2006 (EST)

Bank slots Edit

  • Confirmation prompt to be added to purchase of additional Bank bag slots without installing 3rd party extensions.
    • This is already in the game, even when not using addons, was added in 1.7 or 1.8 and mentioned in the patch notes. CJ 09:27, 23 Jan 2006 (EST)
      • Can't find the word "Bank" in either the 1.7 or 1.8 patch notes. Wanna see if we can find it somewhere? I know this was fixed in a 3rd party plugin. If it is fixed, I'd like to know what patch it was fixed in. Without that, I'm going to have to side with Eyonix. --Xmuskrat 09:44, 23 Jan 2006 (EST)
      • ill run a test tonight. and disable all my addons. CJ 09:58, 23 Jan 2006 (EST)
        • Sounds good. Then we can dig around and try to find the actual patch notes it was fixed in. --Xmuskrat 10:10, 23 Jan 2006 (EST)
          • Very odd,, must be either Titan, or CT Mastermod giving me the message. Just used 100g to buy a bank slot :P and didnt get a warning. funny how easy it is to get used to things. CJ 15:42, 23 Jan 2006 (EST)
            • True that. These mods get so good, it's hard to seperate them from the actual game. They put a lot of work into them, and it's amazing they have the same level of polish and usability as Blizzard's features itself. --Xmuskrat 08:53, 24 Jan 2006 (EST)

speculation Edit

They did mention something about outdoor pvp goals. who knows they might pop this out for 1.10 ? since there are no instances coming, pvp is a likely content update CJ 06:10, 31 Jan 2006 (EST) Figured you might find this link interesting CJ 17:27, 7 Feb 2006 (EST)

Keeping this page neat Edit

I did some sorting today to make this mess of a page far more easy to read.

I moved all the comments and forum quotes from each page to its own "Patch X (preliminary)" page.

From now on, let's try to put just the basics on the Coming Soon page, and put all the extra stuff on the respective patch page.

--Bevans (FeldmanSkitzoid) 17:33, 22 Feb 2006 (EST)

OK -- As so long as it says Preliminary, so nobody gets confused on whats in and what's not in. --Xmuskrat 15:38, 23 Feb 2006 (EST)

Yea, sorry about the confusion. I saw your note and realized that you were right - it needed clarification. --Bevans (FeldmanSkitzoid) 16:31, 1 Mar 2006 (EST)

Foreign Patch Notes Edit

Note that this is not an official list CJ 07:44, 27 Feb 2006 (EST)

True, but it's from the official site for Taiwan, apparently posted by GMs. I can't get the links to work though...I get an error message that is just a bunch of boxes. Probably says "this page is not in English noob". :)

Shaman moved to 1.11 Edit

This could mean that Rogues will be moved back to 1.12. -- Camaris 11:04, 8 April 2006 (EDT)

That seems likely. In they are under 1.13 because they were described as "the patch after shamans", so they could probably be moved back to 1.12.--Aeleas 11:49, 8 April 2006 (EDT)

Patch 2.1 information updated. Edit

I updated the information on patch 2.1 to include recently released information. I also changed the citation for the Black Temple so it links to the Under development page on since it seemed silly to site a fansite when its a direct copy from whats on the official site. I hope thats okay.

Irc Chat Developer with Kalgan and Tigole Edit

Notable things related to Coming Soon...
ZA very likely to be 10-man
Possibility of pre-BC dungeons getting Heroic modes
Expressed interest in developing Grim Batol, Dalaran and Uldum, as well as more Caverns of Time instances
Emerald Dream is still in developement, but it will be awhile. Much work was scrapped in favor of "bigger, grander plans."
Much interest expressed in a Gnomeregan revamp, more lore for Gnomes planned
--Adonzo 12:01, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

This page needs some major updates! Hawkspur 03:23, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Confirmed in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Edit

For me, "confirmed" and "possibly" are contrary. There should be no "possibly" in section named "confirmed"--Shargas the Naga 15:21, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Threat meter in the default UI Edit

Are there any Blizzard posts about this, at all? At the UI & Macros Forum, all that we're anticipating is a threat API, not a full-on threat meter on the default UI. For now, I think it would be best to leave that part of the article as "A threat meter being added into the default interface and/or threat APIs"

Thoughts? Quezacolt (talk) 03:42, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Outfitter / ItemRackEdit

Im not sure, but is this part a little misleading? The addons do not save inventory space, it makes it easyer and faster to equip items. I'll change it and if im wrong change it back. Chaos of Warcraft (talk) 07:49, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
