True sets vs. collections[]

If we're going to list both on the same page, I think we should do something to distinguish between the two. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 03:39, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

They are already on the same list, and look for a explaination between the two on Set. TherasTaneel (talk) 03:42, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
You seem to have misunderstood me. I'm not arguing that the article should explain what a set is, I'm arguing that the lists should be organized in a way which clearly distinguishes between true sets and collections, such as putting true sets in their own subsections, or adding a column for set status. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 04:03, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
Why also list sets here? There's a special page for that - if you find some, just remove them (and add them to the set page). This page is for collections (as opposed to sets - i.e. no set-bonuses) :). Thus, I'd also undo the move Eruantien (talk) 16:45, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
I propose, to move the sets to Armor set page and expand it with the info on here. Since there are all these collections and more on the Item collections page, perhaps transfere the usefull infomation on to there and delete this page alltogether, since nobody seem to want a conjoined page. TherasTaneel (talk) 20:25, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Move proposal[]

It shouldn't be moved to "Armor collections" since the list also contain sets, besides Item collections already contain that which is within this list. So, either clean up this list and/or choose another name to change it to. TherasTaneel (talk) 03:50, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I've cut the move tag since there's already an article for item collections. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 04:03, November 3, 2009 (UTC)
But...a cleanup and perhaps a move to something more fitting as you propose is still in order. TherasTaneel (talk) 04:08, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Future[]

Two against and one former (me) for a combined list page, so, now all want it seperate, merge the info needed to the Item collections page, and delete this one, right? TherasTaneel (talk) 02:12, November 4, 2009 (UTC)

We might need to sort out some attribution issues between merging and deletion, I haven't read the CC-BY-SA's attributien requirements recently. Also, I think it might be better to keep the huge tables out of the main item collections article. Maybe the "item collections" article could be renamed to "item collection", and "armor collections and sets list" could be renamed to "list of item collections", or the tables could be divided into several articles (such as "cloth item collections", "leather item collections", "mail item collections", "plate item collecitons" and "miscellaneous item collections") to avoid clutter. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 03:47, November 4, 2009 (UTC)
hmm,...I agree on keeping the tables out of the main collections article. "item collections" should be renamed, into what I don't know. Whichever it's going to be, it gets the useful info from the current "armor collections and sets list". Although I hate necessary clicking, to avoid clutter,... divide the coming pages as you say into perhaps; "Cloth armor collections", "leather armor collections", "Mail armor collections" and "Plate armor collections", since...its all worn on as armor? Are there any miscellaneous item collections out there? Anyway,...how's this? TherasTaneel (talk) 03:59, November 4, 2009 (UTC)
I think that would work out great, even with the tables - you could even expand the item collections-page with similar tables Eruantien (talk) 13:39, November 4, 2009 (UTC)
Lets try it out and see how it looks. TherasTaneel (talk) 16:34, November 4, 2009 (UTC)
Have a look now, anything else essentiel needed from this page? TherasTaneel (talk) 00:27, November 6, 2009 (UTC)
Well I'd have prefered the sort by level to the sort by alphabet. If you do the second, maybe you can keep the level of the sets in the table as well. And of course the empty fields in the tables of leather collections et cetera. But it looks good. Eruantien (talk) 15:18, November 6, 2009 (UTC)
So, sort them after the level requirements to wear complete set I guess, as if the person trying to find a specific collection would have a look at its page anyway? And yes, fill out the empty blank fields, but thought I'd transfer info, cleanup the collections already there first. Feel free to do it too :) TherasTaneel (talk) 16:31, November 6, 2009 (UTC)
Well I'd say so, like it is on this page, or on the armor set page etc. Eruantien (talk) 15:34, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
