Epic mount which increases movement speed by 100% (720g).

This is the only listed price, and it's a little misleading. The base cost of the mount is 800g, -10% for being honored or higher with the faction, -10% for being PvP rank 3 or higher. So it should always cost 640g.

A related question: should the required levels be listed for items? If so, should it be done by reputation level? --Stfrn 15:45, 1 September 2006 (EDT)

I'm under the impression that the PvP rank 3 bonus doesn't apply when purchasing from PvP vendors (only from main faction vendors), so the cost would be 720g, not 640g. I'll check the next time I'm on. But you're right, the 'base' cost is 800g. The same applies to the listed price for the mana biscuits.

You could list the required levels (or the purchase price) for the items, but each item link has it. Considering the majority of players people who qualify for the level-restricted rewards are likely to be 60, I don't think a required-level column would add much value to the page. --Flick 13:29, 28 September 2006 (PDT)

Yeah, prices and required levels are not needed here, but it just stood out ot me that some were listed, and others not :) AFAIK, the 10% honor discount applies to any goods, but not things like buying a bank slot or respec costs. Also, there are a few people doing AV from level 51, I know many people who ding 60 so that they can equip a TuF they allreay bought for example.--Stfrn 03:48, 29 September 2006 (EDT)

Note they changed the pricing structure for mounts in general in patch 1.12, so the base cost of the AV mount is now 10g (you must still purchase riding from your faction riding trainer). See Riding. This results in an increased total cost of ownership of the AV mounts from 640g assuming you're a Sergeant (yes I checked, it was indeed 640g, Stfrn was right) to 728g again assuming Sergeant. --Flick 9:38 AM, 04 October 2006 (PDT)

They've changed the mark and honor requirement for a lot of the rewards. Problem is that they haven't been reflected on the WoW mainpage. Anyone want to start updating? Thottbot and wowhead have updated prices. Fr0 09:20, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
