Changes: Synthebrew Goggles

The subject of this article or section is part of Brewfest, a seasonal event that lasts two weeks. Once the event has run its course, this will no longer be available until next year, but there are no guarantees.

Synthebrew Goggles are provided by Goldark Snipehunter or Glodrak Huntsniper for Brewfest. The goggles can simulate the effects of being inebriated simply by equipping them. It is also just as easy to "sober up" by removing them.

This is rather useful for quests like Catch the Wild Wolpertinger! (Alliance) / (Horde) or Pink Elekks On Parade (Alliance) / (Horde).

The goggles also count as being drunk when doing Drunken Stupor during Brewfest.

The quote on the goggles, "The goggles, they do something!", may be a reference to a quote, "The goggles, they do nothing!" from an episode of The Simpsons. The actual quote is "My eyes! The goggles do nothing!" but the mondegreen has been popularized as a meme.

It may also be a reference to the YouTube show, Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?, where they exclaimed "The goggles, they do nothing!" during one show and in the title sequence for each show.
