Soul Warding is a Tier 2 Discipline priest talent. It reduces the cooldown of [Power Word: Shield] by 1/2 seconds.
Notes[]
- With this talent, Power Word: Shield can be placed on multiple targets far more rapidly than is possible with the base cooldown of 3 seconds.
- When fully talented, it is possible to cast Power Word: Shield every 1.0 seconds, faster than the Global Cooldown and the fastest cooldown currently possible.
Patch changes[]
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed. - Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Moved to tier 2, now 2 points, no longer reduces the mana cost of Power Word: Shield, reduces the cooldown of Power Word: Shield by 1/2 sec.
- Patch 3.1.2 (2009-05-19): Mana cost reduction is now 15% down from 30%.
- Hotfix (2009-04-28): The Priest ability Soul Warding now only reduces the mana cost of [Power Word: Shield] by 15% instead of 30%. The tooltip for this spell will be updated at a later date.
- Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Added.
