Skettis is the hidden capital of the Arakkoa, and one of the major secrets of Terokkar Forest. It is situated in Blackwind Valley in southeastern Terokkar Forest, only accessible to players who have a flying mount or Druids who have learned Flight Form.

There are many Arakkoa structures here both along the forest floor as well as in the upper boughs of the trees. Various kinds of wildlife also live in this area. Mountain Colossi, examples of the crystal giants seen in Hellfire Peninsula and elsewhere, patrol around the shores of the lake, as well as various classes of Arakkoa and their bird guardians inhabit the prolific city. In the central lake of Skettis live Skettis Surgers (water elementals), usually protecting the Highland Mixed Schools, which are to date the most difficult (require the highest skill) fishing locations in the game. A particular type of feline beast can also be seen in Skettis, the Blackwind Sabercats, a popular choice for hunters as pets as they can be tamed as level 70 and thus require no effort to level up on the part of the hunter and, further, possess a daunting appearance.
