Notes
It does not absorb enough damage to qualify as a main tank's trinket. Offtanks or secondary tanks may consider it as a supplement to emergency abilities like Last Stand. Casters may use it in encounters where adds interrupt their spellcasting.
Where this trinket really shines is in PVP. While it lacks the dodge bonus of the Arena Grandmaster reward, its far shorter cooldown (3 min vs 30 min for the Arena Grandmaster) makes is perfect as a defensive measure.
