Sundarr the Storm-Forger was charged with the defense of the Forge of Storms, a legendary device of Titan construction. Sundarr dwells within the Vault of Thunder, and acts as one of the three watchers of the Vault of the Titans. Among the storm giants of Azeroth, he is one of the most powerful.

Abilities

•  Curse of Storms —  Inflicts the target with writhing bonds of lightning, causing them to suffer periodic nature damage. Used on Sundarr's primary target.

•  Lightning Barricade —  Conjures a barrier of lightning that rotates, sweeping over the entire Forge of Storms. Deals massive nature damage to anyone passing through it. Cast at 50% health.

•  Magnetize —  Blasts a random target with a burst of lightning, magnetizing their armor and reducing their movement speed. Nearby players can alleviate some of the effects. Stacking debuff. The initial cast inflicts 6 stacks, reducing movement speed by 10% for every stack. Players that move within range of the afflicted target will automatically absorb half of the total stacks. Lasts 15 seconds.

•  Thunder Javelin —  Hurls a projectile of Ball Lightning through the air at the location of several random targets. When the projectile strikes, it deals a burst of nature damage to anyone around it.

Changes in Heroic Mode

• Lighting Barricade inflicts lethal damage in Heroic Mode. Sundarr will conjure 3 barricades instead of just one.
• Magnetize inflicts 10 stacks instead of 6.

Strategy

Sundarr will use all of his abilities throughout the encounter. At 50% health, he will summon Lightning Barricades to sweep across his chamber, necessitating that players keep moving to avoid significant damage.

Achievement

• Lightning Round - Defeat Sundarr the Storm-Forger without being hit by his lightning barricade ability.
