The Council of Three Hammers is the regency that rules the Kingdom of Ironforge following the Cataclysm and the petrification of King Magni Bronzebeard. The Council is so named because it is comprised of representatives from each of the three dwarven clans of the Three Hammers in Eastern Kingdoms:
- the Bronzebeard clan by Magni's brother Muradin Bronzebeard
- the Wildhammer clan by Falstad Wildhammer (Kurdran Wildhammer briefly replaced Falstad until it was reversed by Blizzard)
- the Dark Iron clan by Magni's daughter Moira Thaurissan, the widow of Emperor Dagran Thaurissan, as queen-regent to her son Dagran Thaurissan II.
