Defiler's Plate, et al

Had not noticed that those were limited to warriors and paladins. Thought they were unkeyed. Good catch. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 22:21, September 1, 2010 (UTC)

.. though interesting you did not add the Inv belt 14 [Highlander's Plate Girdle] to categories similarly. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 22:22, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
Only the highest-level versions are set pieces. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 22:23, September 1, 2010 (UTC)

patch dates

In cases like Inv misc qirajicrystal 01 [Yellow Qiraji Resonating Crystal] then, where you changed it, how would I know? -=- IconSmall DrakeAzure Drazisil [t/c] 21:32, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

Careful analyzation of the patch notes. In this case, the Yellow Qiraji Resonating Crystal drops in the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, which was added in patch 1.9. Therefore, all creatures and items within the instance were also added in patch 1.9. Ultimately, if you're not sure, leave it blank; I'll get to it eventually. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:37, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
1.11 being Original Naxx, I'm guessing you're probably right. Doesn't mean that things never get added to an instance after the fact, though. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 22:00, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
True, but those are typically special cases. Ultimately, if you're using Wowhead for patch dates and it says 1.11, you need to verify whether or not it was actually added in patch 1.11. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 22:02, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

On a separate patch issue, I've backfilled at least one case where "the last known patch reference" states something that no longer obtains. I can't say WHEN the change happened, but I can unequivocally state that "t has since been changed". --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 18:25, September 10, 2010 (UTC)

That's probably because I'm working forward through the patches, so the newer changes aren't listed yet. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 02:57, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

Quest pages, in the future

Can you put the patch changes above the progression? Thanks. --Sky (t · c) 20:35, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

Whats Up

Alchemy 'stuff'

I just realized now that I missed adding the patch & hotfix sections to everything I've done tonight.. TY TY for going back and editing them in. Resa1983 (talk) 03:02, September 18, 2010 (UTC)

Oh. I think I completely missed the (original) disambig tag. Still, I didn't think we were splitting the Naxx mobs since they have the same ID and everything. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 03:33, September 22, 2010 (UTC)
Yea, I thought about just updating.. but then decided, maybe people want to see past info, so I just moved it and created a new one. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 03:35, September 22, 2010 (UTC)

Zepelin

Why did oyu reverted my changes at Zeppelin page? Ogrim's hammer is perfectly known, it can not be any other zeppelin.... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rawen666 (talk · contr).

I didn't revert it, it was reverted back to the last version which was edited by me. But to answer your question, it's referring to the Alliance version in which Varok Saurfang does not arrive via the Orgrim's Hammer (which was recently shot down) but via an unnamed zeppelin. What's more, the Orgrim's Hammer is not a zeppelin but a gunship. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 04:51, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

Ironforge Airfield

Haven't checked that part of the world yet, but does it actually say "Ironforge Airfield" now when flying over it in 4.0.1 live? If not, it should be changed to 4.0.3. - Sikon (talk) 04:45, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

I don't know, I only changed it because it said 4.0.0, which isn't a real patch number. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 05:00, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Your opinion is desired

Hello.

I just wanted to solicit your opinion on whether {{Instancefooter}} should replace {{Dungeons}}} or not.

Thanks.

Dahlia

Hi, as you have edited the article since my last revision, I would be interested in your input here. Don't meant to bother you, just thought I'd inform you the discussion has not yet ended as you appear interested in the story of that NPC.

Cheers! A F K sig 2 A F K When Needed 21:08, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

I don't really see how you can say that. She says in no uncertain terms that Orbaz Bloodbane killed her, so there's no reason the article should say otherwise. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:12, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Removal of Article content

Next time if you remove screenshots from article please mark it for speedy deletion. Also you could've done all this changes in one edit, not 10... thanks in advance Encaitar (talk) 13:03, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Oh and sry articles mentioned were Coffer of Promise and screenshot

Your opinion is desired

Hey Zeratul, the Alliance-Horde War article is constantly changed to include Malfurion as an Alliance commander, while he actually doesn't take part in the conflict similar to Lady Liadrin, Hamuul Runetotem, Varok Saurfang or even Thrall who are not listed. Could you please visit Talk:Alliance–Horde War and discuss. I really think he doesn't fit there, as he is more neutral as leader of Cenarion Circle (just like the 4 Horde commanders who simply do not take part in the war eventhough they're in the Horde). Omgdruid

Have i guessed you're nickname on wow forums?--Ashbear160 (talk) 03:11, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Given that I said it in the Forum about the new CDev thread, I'd expected my answer to be yes. Surprisingly, it's not. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 06:39, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Molten Front

Why are you deleting Molten Front? It is a zone according to patch notes and Wowhead. Hallowseve15 (talk) 00:36, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

It's a zone according to Wowhead, which datamined it from the PTR client. The patch notes say nothing about it. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 00:45, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Noob User

Sorry, I've only just started editing pages here on Wowpedia. Sorry if my editing Joren Ironstock, an inconsequential NPC tucked away in the Coldridge Valley of Dun Morogh was a bother to you, but like I said, I'm new here and was experimenting on expanding stub pages. I have to say however that the new page looks much better than the old page, and again I apologize for using the boilerplate provided by the community for use to spruce pages up to spruce a page up. You are correct, the info was not wrong, but I thought adding the coordinates to the NPCs location, some quotes, and some notes would be nice. So I did. Using the boilerplate. And therefore reorganizing the info. Sincerest apologies. Thewalrus (talk) 02:45, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

Well, the boilerplate is primarily there for two things: as an example of how a page should look, and to provide a starting point for a new page. If you're updating an existing one, you can just copy over the individual sections that need to be added; otherwise it makes a bit of a mess of the edit history, and can result in a bunch of extra leftover stuff that just needs to be removed. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 03:33, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

Bosses names

If you have time, can you confirm with the RaidUI bosses with speculative name? ACidmaw, the Val'kyr, the blood princes, and other?

Thanks

IconSmall Hamuul Loremaster A'noob, Arch Druid of the Noobhoof Clan (talk/contribz) 21:12, 21 March 2011 (UTC)

I'll check on it when I get a chance, yeah. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:25, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
...Looks like any old lockouts I had for those raids have been wiped in various patches. I'll try and remember to update this if I ever run them again. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 22:33, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
Huuum, and could it be checked in the game files directly? (to avoid going to all the raid instances)
IconSmall Hamuul Loremaster A'noob, Arch Druid of the Noobhoof Clan (talk/contribz) 11:19, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
I have absolutely no idea. I'm not familiar with the game's internal file structure, especially where text is concerned. Only way I know of of getting that information is getting saved to the instance and then typing /raidinfo, or finding someone else who's already saved (or at least has an expired lockout) and having them link their lockout to you. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 17:08, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Unstubbing item stubs

Don't forget to add categories to item articles that you un-stub. If there's a heroic version of the item, don't forget to add the {{heroic}} tag to it, and {{normal}} if there's a normal version of it. --g0urra[T҂C] 06:53, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
