Overview
Shadow Affinity is a passive talent of the Priest. It reduces threat generated by the Priest's Shadow spells.
Functionality
Use
- Type: Passive
- Ranks: 3
- Tier: 2 (5 points in the Shadow tree necessary)
- Prerequisites: None
- Prerequisite to: None
Affected Spells
- Any spell and effect from the Shadow Magic talent tree.
Description
- Talent Description: Reduces the threat generated by your Shadow spells by 25%.
Notes
- Shadow Affinity stacks with other threat reduction methods such as the Priest talent
[Silent Resolve], the Paladin's 
[Blessing of Salvation], and the Shaman's 
[Tranquil Air Totem]. However, these effects stack multiplicatively, reducing each talent's value. - It does not affect Shadow spells from the Discipline Tree (
[Mana Burn], Feedback). - It does affect [Vampiric Embrace] healing.
- It has no use in PvP combat.
