Pinnacle
Some users seem to think it's funny to alter or remove entries regarding the Horde guild Pinnacle. While not a member of Pinnacle myself (Alliance, even), it is distressing to see people flippantly editing other guilds out of the Wiki.
I won't call you out by name, but the history tells the tale. Please cease and desist so we don't have to protect this page. Black angel y2k 12:01, 25 March 2007 (EDT)

- Perfectly fine! It's not been any single person, it's just that the history shows a few edits on that particular guild and I want to make sure this page doesn't turn into a graffiti board. We already have different guilds going a bit beyond simple guild name and short description, but I haven't cleaned it up fo rfear of stepping on people's toes, since I am far too easyti locate in-game. Guild Description Standards
I want to propose some standards for guild descriptions for our page on Llane. Some guilds have opted for a very short description, or just a listing of downed bosses. Others have used very long descriptions. The unfortunate effect is that long paragraphs overinflate any given guild's slot in the list, and make the page excessively long. To that effect I have trimmed some descriptions a bit.
I would like to propose a 5-line rule. In essence: that the guild name, description, and progress altogether take no more than 5 lines from the page. I think this will make the page much cleaner. Those with longer descriptions should create guild pages on the wiki, allowing them to describe their guild in more detail.
My undertanding is that most updating here is likely from people who are in certain guilds...for instance I am in MostlyHarmless. I want to ensure noone thinks that guild descriptions are being trashed or moved about flippantly, while keeping this page attractive and simple.Black angel y2k 11:12, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
