General discussion[]

I removed the link to the Raiders of da Lost Horde website, and the site seems to be have been dead recently. I'll ask an officer tonight, and make sure that there isn't a new address for it. Temescal 20:36, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Not quite sure why Azeroth Crusaders and Raiders of da Lost Horde were removed from the Horde guild list. They are both still very much active. I put them back in.

Please continue to report User:KEK20 as a vandal @ the Violations section of WoWWiki. The continued removal of entire Wiki page sections by this user needs to be brought to the attention of the WoWWiki admins. Kael'Thas 00:06, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

I saw that you added KEK20 on the Violations page but you added him as 'Suspect'. I think you want to change that to 'Vandal' and have an admin review his contrib log since 'suspect' is a flag meaning admin reviewed and found the contribs not-actionable.

Future of Reason / Kael'Thas Alliance[]

Since Reason played such a large part in the history and formation of Kael'Thas as a server, I am interested in what individuals may desire to write in reference to their disbanding. I am open to all suggestions. Kael'Thas 01:16, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Seraphiel posted (link) a statement on the forums regarding the disband/refocus that could be used. --Kochira 19:51, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

NPOV[]

The Notable players list has a lot of neutral comments such as First Grand Marshal and First High Warlord, and first rank 14 on the server. However, comments like Who is this guy? A douchebag and Has a Amazing mouth are not appropriate and should be removed.

Let's keep the Notables to in-game events.--Discordkt 19:12, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Most trolls of this wiki have been around long enough to associate the comments mentioned with actual (and humorous) in-game events. The comments aren't some random acts of e-thuggery, they're mementos and only relevant to long-term members of Kael'thas (i.e. server opened, firsts to 60, golden age of Reason and Dominus, etc).

Kael'Thas 02:30, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Glorification of individuals privy to inside jokes and cliche does not equal notable in-game events. I still content that the Notable Players in its current form is NPOV and needs a lot of work. User:Kochira/Sig 22:10, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm gonna remove those comments about players, such as who's this guy, sexiest..something If you disagree, mention it here. Bajo 13:31, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

If you're going to edit the Notable Players section, either remove all the "potentially offensive" comments or don't remove any of them. It looks like a personal vendetta against certain edits and comments. "Is a confirmed furry. Silent benefactor of the http://www.lazytown.com/ site." "Infamous forum troll." "Elitist, Canadian and proud member of Team Vaka." None of these are in-game events either. If you are going to restrict the notables to in-game events you should take the time to fix the entire section, top to bottom, removing all players that have not impacted in-game events. Otherwise, leave it alone, thanks. Deadgar

All of the non in-game items have been removed and some players are left with just their name. I say we get some notes on there for these players or remove them all together. DiscordktDiscordKTTalkContrib 18:31, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Guild Progression[]

Did a few updates to progression, should be updated to the latest boss kills on http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=2968178122 I was wondering if Uprising should be moved below all the Gruul clears as it seems pretty consistent that previous instances hold more weight than boss kills in the next, but they did skip a 25man so I'm unsure, any thoughts? --Regulous 12:38, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

The Uprising has killed Gruul so they should remain as is - I updated them to reflect that kill Discordkt 19:49, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Big Update[]

I've updated the guild list and progression list based on the KT forum list (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=7378120257). If anything was removed and shouldn't have been, let's get it fixed. DiscordktDiscordKTTalkContrib 18:29, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Updating[]

I'm bored; and working has me sat at the PC forever so; I'll be updating the site, cleaning it up, maybe adding a few things to pretty it up a little. I am not devoting my life to this, but will try and make it look better.
Things done: -Updated ICC progression, including removing guilds no longer raiding/raiding on KT -Updated Guild links, including removing dead links/guilds

Things to do: -Update all WotLK progression -plenty more i'm sure but it's 4am; will take a deeper look at a later point.
