End Game Progression

The Way This Works: The progression tables list bosses killed, not bosses currently being worked on. When a zone or wing has been entirely cleared (farm status) it is labeled "complete."

Icecrown has a large alliance population working on 40 man content with 8-12(Horde & Alliance) guilds beginning or working through Naxxramas. There are a few (4-7) Horde guilds working on BWL/MC.

Icecrown Ventrillo Server

Recently, a Ventrilo server for the players of Icecrown has been setup. Channels are organized for both Alliance and Horde PvP, with multiple channels for each battleground.

Reserved Names: You can send a mail message to Avent (alliance) or Hvent (horde) on the character you wish to have a reserved name on. Make sure to include a message saying youd like me to create an account for you, and include a password. I will generally only do it for well known level 60 players though. I will try to check the mail at least once a week. Also make sure you send the mail using the character you wish to have a reserved name with. You may not have capital letters in your password, because of the way blizzard displays its text in mail, its hard for me to tell, so i will make all lowercase. If you are having problems logging in then send a mail, and include at least 30 copper for me to respond back.

Problems If you are having problems, please post them or e-mail me at vent@boardmerlin.com. If the server appears to be full, which may happen, please e-mail me or post on the forums.

Buy Blackwing Lair Weapons

The Alliance Guild <Blades of Wrath> is currently allowing players to run Blackwing Lair with their guild and purchase epic items if they are unneeded by <Blades of Wrath> members. This is one option for players to obtain better gear, but who are unable to maintain a regular raid or PVP schedule. A deposit is required prior to participating in the raid.

IC PvP Guides

A Series of guides were written previously be various prominent/respected members of the Icecrown community. These guides will be posted shortly. The guides currently available were posted previously on the Icecrown forums. Haunted, Dirnok and Gins are the current major contributors.

About Icecrown (PvE)

Icecrown was one of the servers available on launch day for World of Warcraft, back in November 2004. The server has been the victim of many hardware problems and, consequently, has been affectionately called "Icedown" at times. As of April 23rd, 2006, Icecrown has been transfered to new server hardware, relieving much of the lag and queue times being experienced by its players. Although the new hardware has decreased the overall number of problems, Icecrown has still been knocked offline several times due to hardware failures.

Alliance/Horde Ratio

According to the Warcraft server population-tracking website Warcraft Realms, Icecrown's Alliance player population far exceeds the Horde player population. The reported ratio has ranged from 2.1:1 to 3:1 in favor of the Alliance. Due to this imbalance, Alliance PVP queues tend to be significantly longer than

The lowest population classes are "assumed" to be the most desired. Note that this information may be inaccurate.

Realm Transfers (Considering Transfering In?)

The Icecrown forum community strongly discourages Alliance character transfers to Icecrown. However, the community highly encourages Horde character transfers to facilitate realm balance and to decrease PVP queue times on the Alliance side.
