Sara is the vrykul avatar of Yogg-Saron who assists players during phase one of his encounter. After revealing his true form, she transforms into a Val'kyr, becoming Template:Hostile and attacking players for the remainder of the fight.
Yogg-Saron's name may be derived from Yog-Sothoth of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos and Sara, probably is derived from H.P. Lovecraft's mother name, Sarah Susan Phillips Lovecraft. There is a speculation about Lovecraft relationship's with his mother were probably painful and she was a important (and terrible) person in his life.
