Saber cat mounts

Saber mounts are mostly Alliance only mounts. If you are playing as any race other than a night elf, you will also need to have Exalted reputation with Darnassus. Saber mounts are the mounts of the Silverwing Sentinels.

Apprentice

These mounts give a 60% speed increase on land. You can purchase these mounts from Lelanai <Saber Handler>, in the Cenarion Enclave of eastern Darnassus so long as your character has riding skill of 75 (obtainable at level 20).

Journeyman

These mounts give a 100% speed increase on land. You can purchase these mounts from Lelanai <Saber Handler>, in the Cenarion Enclave of eastern Darnassus so long as your character has riding skill of 150 (obtainable at level 40). The Black War Tiger is available from Lieutenant Karter <Mount Vendor> in Stormwind.

Often passed up for being a long a difficult reputation grind in days since passed the following saber is not so hard to get anymore. Getting exalted with the Wintersaber Trainers and providing 100 to Rivern Frostwind will earn yourself a Winterspring Frostsaber.

While most sabers can only be obtained by the Alliance, three special mounts can be accessed by any faction. From the Trading Card Game The Spectral Tiger and Swift Spectral Tiger. And from Zul'Gurub, the Swift Zulian Tiger.
