Rokad the Ravager

Rokad the Ravager is a level 73 named elite darkhound in the Servant's Quarters in Karazhan.

Rokad only does straight up melee damage on the main tank, but does so a lot. We logged it at 1781 DPS. Straight up tank and spank anyhow.

Rokad has about 120k health. He is a solo pull, but quick respawns in his room may force you to pull him with adds. Rokad hit our bear tank for about 1200-1300 and was an easy tank and spank like noted above. - Feb 16

Rokad had about 220k health when he was downed today. - Feb 22

We cleared the room up to 2 dogs around Rokad, and we could not pull him without pulling the dogs. - Apr 3

Took about 35 min to clear the area completely. When we started to clear the respawns, we were well behind the respawn rate. After maybe 5 more minutes there was a NPC shout to announce Rokad spawned. The random anmimal boss spawn seem to work like this: 1. Clear the area (boss hasnt spawned yet). 2. Start clearing the respawns. 3. Get the announcement by the spawned boss. 4. Clear the path to the announced boss. 5. Kill the boss - (confirmation needed on this) - Apr. 8

Faction Gain

Clearing the area requires the raid to kill around 50 mobs worth 15 Violet_Eye rep each. With reputation from the boss, this adds up to about 1000 Violet_Eye reputation.

Strategy

While Rokad does relatively strong melee damage to the tank, this encounter is essentially a "tank 'n' spank"; just DPS him down and heal as needed.

Note To get to this boss, you need to clear all the mobs in the servants quarter, its to the right after you enter the instance, When you cleared all Mobs in under 30 minutes and about 3-10 of the respawns, then a random of 3 bosses will spawn, one of them is this.

Loot

Rokad drops one set of purple bracers each time. These are randomly selected from Cloth, Leather, Mail, Plate, with a random enchantment.
