Concept art of the "man-bear-pig"
In some of the earler concepting the worgen were riding a boar-like mount jockingly called the man-bear-pig. But as they started to model it and take a closer look at how the worgen would looking riding their mount, the developer became inscreasingly dissatisfied. So they decided that runnning on all fours fits better for a worgen.[1]
Notes
- The name of the beast is a reference to the South Park episode with the same title. During the episode former U.S. Vice President Al Gore visits South Park Elementary School and warns the school's students about the terrible ManBearPig, a scary monster which is "half man, half bear, and half pig" and roams the Earth attacking humans for no reason at all
