Zalazane is the leader of the Voodoo Trolls on the Echo Islands. He is an enemy of Vol´jin and the Darkspear Trolls. He was originally a powerful sorcerer of the tribe, but, while lusting for power and through the use of mind-enslaving magic to gather an army, he staged a coup de grace and forced the Darkspear to flee and establish the village of Sen'jin on the shores of southern Durotar.
Objectives
Defeat Zalazane.
Kill 8 Voodoo Trolls and 8 Hexed Trolls.
Bring Zalazane's Head to Gadrin.

Description
The witchdoctor Zalazane dwells on the Echo Isles to the east. They are the isles we once called home.
From there he sends his trolls to the mainland, to hex our people and drag more of them under his sway.
He must be stopped.
Defeat Zalazane and his minions -- former Darkspear trolls, now lost to us. Bring me his head and I will know his reign of evil is over.
Details
Zalazane is a level 10 shaman located at (67,88) on the largest island of the Echo Isles. He patrols from the top of a hill down into the huts directly in front of the hill. You will either need to clear all the trolls in the huts directly in front of the hill, or you can sneak up the back side of the hill and wait for him to come back up. The top of the hill is where you find the skull needed for the quest [Quest:Minshina's Skull|Minshina's Skull], so have this quest with you.
He heals himself a lot during the fight, so he can take quite a bit of damage. He also has a shrink curse that reduces your Strength and Agility by 2.
If you think you will need help soloing Zalazane and are into swimming, complete the quest Minshina's Skull first to get the Faintly Glowing Skull. Then come back and take on Zalazane. When he's down to about half health, but not so low that he starts healing himself, use the Faintly Glowing Skull. With luck, it will do enough damage and he should die instantly.
