Feast of Winter Veil
The subject of this article or section is part of Feast of Winter Veil, a seasonal event that lasts several weeks. Once the event has run its course, this will no longer be available until next year, but there are no guarantees.

  • PX-238 Winter Wondervolt
  • Happy Holidays!
  • Duration: 30 minutes

The PX-238 Winter Wondervolt is a device run by Wonderform Operators that, when you touch or enter it, will give you a 30 minute buff which will turn you into a gnome decked out in Christmas colors (green or red). This is necessary to get the achievement Achievement worldevent littlehelper [With a Little Helper from My Friends].

For 5 Merry Supplies, Achievement worldevent littlehelper [Little Helpers] can be purchased to add a PX-238 Winter Wondervolt (complete with Wonderform Operator) to your Level 3 garrison, enabling access all year round and opens up the achievement beyond the Feast of Winter Veil.

Notes[]

  • In previous years this device would transform players into either red wearing gnomes or green wearing gnomes, but as of Winter Veil 2009, only the Alliance are able to turn into gnomes with the red outfits while Horde only turn into the gnomes that wear green outfits. This matches how Blizzard setup up the craft-able outfits first added in 2007.

Patch changes[]

  • Wrath-Logo-Small Patch 3.3.0 (2009-12-08): Alliance players will now always have red outfits, and Horde players will now always have green outfits.
  • WoW Icon update Patch 1.8.4 (2005-12-06): Added.
