Map description

Scouts have spotted strange pillars of stone in Ashenvale. These Monoliths seem to imbue the woodland creatures with a new and deadly purpose. Destroy the Monoliths to free the forest from their control.

Main Quests

  • Find and destroy all Monoliths
    • Scouts report that a Monolith has been sighted on the forest.
• Description
  • Scouts have sighted mysterious Monoliths in the forest. These Monoliths attract the creatures that inhabit these lands, making them more intelligent and more hostile. You must find and destroy these Monoliths before the creatures become powerful enough to destroy you.

• Objectives
  • Find, disable, and grab as many Monolith Shards as possible.
    • Monolith Shards can be disabled and picked up, temporarily disrupting Monolithic energies.
• Description
  • Monolith Shards collect and distribute energy from the Monoliths. Disable the shards by attacking them, then pick them up and destroy (use) them to temporarily disrupt the Monolith energy. Monolith energy disruption confuses Monolithic Creeps and they may begin to attack each other. You may also find disabled shards in the forest.
